Juozas Budraitis
Juozas Budraitis (born 6 October 1940) is a Lithuanian actor. He has appeared in more than 60 films and television shows since 1966. He starred in the Soviet film ''Wounded Game'', which was entered into the 1977 Cannes Film Festival. Budraitis also played a minor role in the finale of the period drama miniseries '' The Queen's Gambit''. Biography Juozas Stanislavas Budraitis was born on 6 October 1940 in the village of Liepynai, Kelmė, Lithuania in a peasant family. In 1945, the family moved to Klaipėda, and in 1955 – to the small town of Švėkšna. In the years 1958-1960, Budraitis worked as a laborer at a training and production plant in Klaipėda. After serving in the army, he entered the law faculty of Vilnius University. RIA Novosti (russian: РИА Новости), sometimes referred to as RIAN () or RIA (russian: РИА, label=none) is a Russian state-owned domestic news agency. On 9 December 2013 by a decree of Vladimir Putin it was liquidated and its assets and workforce were transferred to the newly created Rossiya Segodnya agency. On 8 April 2014 RIA Novosti was registered as part of the new agency. RIA Novosti is headquartered in Moscow. The chief editor is Anna Gavrilova. The American Revolution'' is a six-hour documentary miniseries about the Revolutionary War, and the instigating factors, that brought about the United States' independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. It was first broadcast on the Public Broadcasting Service in 1997. The series consists of six hour-long episodes. Each episode is introduced by Forrest Sawyer and narrated by Edward Herrmann. Presnyakov Brothers
The Presnyakov Brothers, Oleg and Vladmimir, are writers, playwrights, screenwriters, directors, theatre producers, and actor. The sons of an Iranian mother and a Russian father, Oleg was born in 1969 and Vladimir in 1974. Both brothers graduated from the same school: M. Gorky Urals State University in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast. Until recently, they were both also on the faculty of that same university: Oleg in literary theory and philology, and Vladimir in literary theory and psychology. Together, the two founded the university's Youth Theatre, "Theatre under the name of Christina Orbakaite",an organization committed to producing experimental theatre work. ''Down House'' (russian: Даун Хаус, Daun khaus) is a 2001 Russian comedy-gross-out film by Roman Kachanov, a modern interpretation of the 1869 novel ''The Idiot'' by Fyodor Dostoevsky. The film received the Special Jury Prize at Kinotavr. Premise The plot is set in modern Moscow, probably in the second half of the 1990s, with "New Russians", Hummer H1 jeeps, bribery, violence, truckfuls of tinned stew as a dowry, and so on. The film is quite far from the novel's subject, but still keeps to the main storyline.
