''The Western Journal'', previously known as ''Western Journalism'', is an American conservative news and politics website based in Phoenix, Arizona. It was founded by political consultant Floyd Brown in 2008. History ''Western Journalism'' founder Floyd Brown also founded the Political Action Committee Citizens United and served as executive director of the Young America's Foundation. The site was acquired by Liftable Media, Inc. in 2014, which also owns the political opinion websites ''Conservative Tribune'' and ''Liberty Alliance'', and the human-interest website Liftable.com. It also owns and provides content to dozens of conservative Facebook pages. ''Newsweek'' reported that the site has grown from receiving 1,000 page views a day in 2009 to more than 1 million during 2016. The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) is a British non-profit organisation with offices in London and Washington, DC. Climate Feedback (CF) is a web-based content annotation tool that allows qualified scientists to comment on stories online, adding context and noting inaccuracies. It is one of three websites under the Science Feedback parent organization that fact-checks media coverage. Science Feedback is a non-profit organization registered in France. Scientific Consensus On Climate Change
There is a strong scientific consensus that the Earth is warming and that this warming is mainly caused by human activities. This consensus is supported by various studies of scientists' opinions and by position statements of scientific organizations, many of which explicitly agree with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) synthesis reports. Floyd Gregory Brown (born March 10, 1961) is an American author, speaker, and media commentator. He is formerly the CEO of USA Radio Network. Brown founded the conservative website '' Western Journalism'' in 2008. Brown in his early career worked as a political consultant and conducted opposition research for political campaigns. Brown is noteworthy for founding Citizens United in 1988 and for his introduction of the "Willie Horton" television ad during the 1988 presidential election campaign.
