Wendelin Boeheim
Wendelin Boeheim (also ''Böheim'', 1832–1900) was an Austrian army officer and weapons historian. From 1859 to 1865 he was instructor at the Theresian Military Academy. In 1866, he participated in the Bohemian campaign of the Austro-Prussian War in the rank of captain in the imperial infantry regiment Nr. 4 ('' Hoch- und Deutschmeister''). He retired from military service in 1877 for health reasons. Common Army
The Common Army (german: Gemeinsame Armee, hu, Közös Hadsereg) as it was officially designated by the Imperial and Royal Military Administration, was the largest part of the Austro-Hungarian land forces from 1867 to 1914, the other two elements being the Imperial-Royal Landwehr (of Austria) and the Royal Hungarian Landwehr. The Theresian Military Academy (german: Theresianische Militärakademie, TherMilAk) is a military academy in Austria, where the Austrian Armed Forces train their officers. Founded in 1751, the academy is located in the castle of Wiener Neustadt in Lower Austria.
