Wong Wai Yin
Doris Wong Wai Yin (born in 1981), is a Hong Kong born artist, working with various types of media such as paintings, sculpture, collages, installations, videos and photography. Through her works, she explores her internal conflicts, raising and answering questions about her journey of motherhood, fears, and struggle with self-doubt. Background Born in Hong Kong in 1981, Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004, and a Master in Fine Arts from the University of Leeds in 2005. She worked as a project assistant in Asia Art Archive in 2009 on documentation and website project named "Materials of the Future: Documenting Contemporary Chinese Art from 1980-1990". Installation art is an artistic genre of three-dimensional works that are often site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space. Hong Kong Museum Of Art
The Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) is the first and main art museum of Hong Kong, located in Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. HKMoA has an art collection of over 17,000 items. Admission is free for permanent exhibitions. The Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art is a contemporary art gallery based in Manchester, England. Taipei Fine Arts Museum
The Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM; ) is a museum in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is in the Taipei Expo Park. The museum first opened on August 8, 1983, at the former site of the United States Taiwan Defense Command. It was the first museum in Taiwan built for contemporary art exhibitions. The architecture is a local interpretation of the Japanese Metabolist Movement, and the building was designed by architect Kao Er-Pan. Spring Workshop
Spring Workshop (Chinese: Spring 工作室) was a nonprofit arts organization based in Hong Kong from 2011 to 2018. It was founded as a cross-disciplinary residency program and exhibition space. In 2016, Spring received the Prudential Eye Award for Best Asian Contemporary Art Organization. History Spring Workshop was privately funded as a five-year experimental initiative with artistic craftsmanship and experience. Faye Wong ( zh, 王菲; born Xia Lin on 8 August 1969) is a Hong Kong singer-songwriter. Early in her career she briefly used the stage name Shirley Wong.
