Wieteke Van Dort
Louisa Johanna Theodora van Dort (born May 16, 1943 in Surabaya, Dutch East Indies) is a Dutch actress, comedian, singer, writer and artist of Indo (Eurasian) descent. On April 29, 1999, Queen Beatrix appointed her ''Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau''. She has appeared on many children's television programs and is best known for her Indo (Dutch-Indonesian) character of Tante Lien in ''The Late Late Lien Show'' on Dutch prime time television. Her show was the only television programme ever to showcase Indo (Eurasian) culture and introduced many Indo artists and music to mainstream audiences in the Netherlands. After three seasons the television series ended in 1988, but her ''Tante Lien'' character is popular to this day and in 2007 she was awarded the Silver Medal of Merit for her contributions in this role from the Dutch State Secretary for Defence. Willem Wilmink
Willem Wilmink (; Enschede, 25 October 1936 – 2 August 2003) was a Dutch poet and writer. He was best known for the large number of songs he wrote for popular children programs and his accessible, straightforward poetry. Life and career Wilmink was born in Enschede and studied Dutch and history at the University of Amsterdam. From 1960 to 1978, he taught modern literature at the same university. He wrote many songs for musicals and wrote a number of novels for young adults. At first he mainly wrote for adults, but later mainly for children. His first publication was in 1966: ''Brief van een Verkademeisje'' (Eng: "letter from a Verkade girl"). His poem "Ben Ali Libi," inspired by Dutch Jewish magician Michel Velleman, who was murdered at the Sobibor extermination camp, has become one of his most famous poems. Barbara Alexandra "Sandra" Reemer (17 October 1950 – 6 June 2017) was an Indo-Dutch singer and television presenter. She represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest on three occasions, tying with Corry Brokken for most appearances representing the country. In 1972, she sang the song " Als het om de liefde gaat" in a duet with Dries Holten (she was credited as "Sandra", he was credited as "Andres"); the duo came fourth. In 1976, this time credited under her real name, Reemer performed solo singing the song " The Party's Over", which reached ninth place.
