The Wichita Wings are a professional arena soccer team based in Wichita, Kansas. They are current members of Major Arena Soccer League 2 and began play in 2019. They also have a developmental semi-professional team, the Wichita Wings 2, who currently play in Major Arena Soccer League 3. They play their home games at Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas. History In October 2019, the Wichita Wings were announced as an expansion franchise in the Major Arena Soccer League 2. Hartman Arena
Hartman Arena is a privately managed 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Park City, Kansas, United States. It is located northwest of I-135 and 77th Street North in the north Wichita metro area. History Ground was broken on March 25, 2008, and the arena opened the last week of March 2009. The architecture firm of Law-Kingdon Inc. designed the facility. Tickets.com and Hartman Arena have a multiyear ticketing service agreement. Hartman Arena hosts home games of the Wichita B-52s of the Major Arena Soccer League. It also hosts the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 6A and 5A State Wrestling Tournaments. They were moved here after one year at Intrust Bank Arena. The Wichita B-52s was an American professional indoor soccer team based in Wichita, Kansas. Founded in July 2013, the team made its debut in the Professional Arena Soccer League with the 2013–14 season under head coach Larry Inlow. After beginning the 2014–15 season under Jeff Kraft, Kim Roentved was named head coach in December 2014. The team played its home games at Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas. The Major Arena Soccer League 2 is a North American indoor soccer league that serves as the developmental league of the Major Arena Soccer League. History M2 launched in 2017 to "provide an outlet for teams to either reorganize for a re-emergence in the MASL or an avenue for teams to compete in smaller markets in hopes of rising to MASL status." It was announced that M2 would have between 8 and 12 teams. The 2018–19 season brought the total number of teams participating in the season up from 10 to 15.
