Kansas Coliseum
Kansas Coliseum was an entertainment complex in unincorporated Sedgwick County, Kansas, United States. It was located north of Wichita at the intersection of I-135 and 85th Street North. It hosted sporting events, concerts, shows, and consisted of four pavilions, an RV park, and the 9,686-seat Britt Brown Arena, named for Harry Britton (Britt) Brown Jr., of Wichita, the former owner of ''The Wichita Eagle'' newspaper. United Indoor Football
United Indoor Football (UIF) was an indoor football league in the United States that operated from 2005 to 2008. Ten owners from the National Indoor Football League, including one expansion (the Dayton Warbirds, which never played a game in UIF) and two from arenafootball2 (af2) took their franchises and formed their own league. The league was based in Omaha, Nebraska. On July 22, 2008, it was announced that the UIF would be merging with the Intense Football League 2009 season. The merged league is known as the newest incarnation of the Indoor Football League. Field United Indoor Football was played exclusively indoors, in arenas usually designed for either basketball or ice hockey teams. Slaughter is an American glam metal band formed in Las Vegas by lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum. The band reached stardom in 1990 with their first album ''Stick It to Ya'', which spawned several hit singles including " Up All Night", "Spend My Life", "Mad About You" and "Fly to the Angels.” The album reached double platinum status in the United States. Kansas Pavilions
Kansas Pavilions was a public events complex located in unincorporated Sedgwick County, Kansas near the Wichita suburb of Park City, Kansas, USA. It hosted a number of equestrian, livestock, dog and car shows, as well as swap meets and flea markets. It ceased hosting events after 2016. The Pavilions were once part of the Kansas Coliseum complex, which was built in 1977 and included the 9,686 seat Britt Brown Arena. The arena was closed in February 2010 after the opening of the INTRUST Bank Arena in downtown Wichita and the entire complex was sold to a private developer in 2012. When the Britt Brown Arena closed, there was much public outcry to not close the Pavilions at the Kansas Coliseum. Members of the public who used the Pavilions frequently argued that the INTRUST Bank Arena and neighboring show places are not equipped to host "dirt" events, such as equestrian and livestock shows. Intrust Bank Arena is a 15,004-seat multi-purpose arena in Wichita, Kansas, United States. It is located on the northeast corner of Emporia and Waterman streets in downtown Wichita. The arena is the second largest indoor arena in the state of Kansas, behind Allen Fieldhouse at KU, which seats 16,300. It is located on the southeast corner of 21st and Hillside on the campus of Wichita State University in northeast Wichita.
