Wheelgate Park
Wheelgate Park is a 30-acre family theme park and water park in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire, England. The park includes two large indoor play centres, a farm and a water park. Formerly known as Wonderland Adventure Park, in 2007 the park became part of Bendalls Leisure which also owns Twinlakes Theme Park in Melton Mowbray and Woodlands Family Theme Park in Devon. The name changed to Wheelgate Park together with redevelopment and expansion. In December 2012, it became "Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park" after development to build a water-park which opened at the beginning of 2013. The site is also a location for UK Escape Games. Animal life Throughout the park there are places where children can see and visit animals. The animals in the Animal Adventure Zone include rabbits, goats, ponies, snakes and other reptiles, a mongoose, llamas, pigs and birds. Farnsfield
Farnsfield is a large village and civil parish in Nottinghamshire in Sherwood Forest. It is in the local government district of Newark and Sherwood. The population of the civil parish as at the 2011 Census was 2,731, an increase from 2,681 in the United Kingdom Census 2001. The village lies in a predominantly farming area. There is no major industry or employer within Farnsfield. The majority of residents of working age commute to work, mostly to Nottingham, Mansfield or Newark. Farnsfield's facilities include a small Co-op supermarket and Post Office, a village bakery, butcher, greengrocer, and other small shops. Twinlakes Theme Park
Twinlakes is a theme park located 0.5 miles (0.75 kilometres) north-east of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England. The park was opened in September 2003, eleven months after the site was purchased. The park is family friendly with a large percentage of its rides being for young children, in comparison with other theme parks such as Alton Towers and Drayton Manor. Furthermore, groups of visitors with no children are not allowed access to the park. Like many similar venues, Twinlakes is divided into geographic 'zones' to help visitors find their way around. However, unlike other places there seems to be little similarity between the individual attractions within each zone. Melton Mowbray () is a town in Leicestershire, England, north-east of Leicester, and south-east of Nottingham. It lies on the River Eye, known below Melton as the Wreake. Woodlands Family Theme Park is an all-weather family amusement park and falconry display on the A3122 road, 5 miles from Dartmouth, Devon, Dartmouth, in South Devon, England.
