Wes Green
Wes Green (born 6 March 1982) is a professional lacrosse player with the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse and the Washington Stealth of the National Lacrosse League. Originally from the West Torrens Lacrosse Club in Adelaide, South Australia, Green played on the Australian National Team in the 2006 World Games in London. Wes Green played his college ball at Adelphi University where he Earned several honours during his senior season (2006) at Adelphi, including: USILA Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award (Division-II Player of the Year), USILA Lt. Col. J.I. Turnbull Award, First Team All-American, ECC Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, ECC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Inside Lacrosse Magazine First Team Preseason All-American. Washington Stealth
The Washington Stealth were a member of the National Lacrosse League, the professional box lacrosse league of North America from the 2010 NLL season through the 2013 NLL season. They were based in Everett (part of the Seattle metropolitan area), with home games played at the 8,513-seat Comcast Arena at Everett. The team was previously known as the Albany Attack from 2000 until 2003, and later the San Jose Stealth from 2004 until 2009. On July 24, 2012, the Stealth and Comcast Arena announced that they had agreed to new terms on a five-year lease that will keep the team in Everett through the 2017 season. 2007 NLL Season
The 2007 National Lacrosse League season, the 21st in the history of the NLL (including the Eagle Pro Box Lacrosse League and Major Indoor Lacrosse League years) began on December 30, 2006 and concluded with the championship game on May 12, 2007. The Rochester Knighthawks finished the regular season with a 14–2 record, winning their last 12 games. They followed this up by beating Toronto in the first round, and then clinched the Eastern division title by defeating Buffalo in the Eastern division finals, with league MVP John Grant, Jr. scoring in overtime. The Arizona Sting finished third in their division, but defeated the Calgary Roughnecks in the first round, and then beat the San Jose Stealth to clinch their second division title in three years. The Philadelphia Barrage were a field lacrosse team that are based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and member of Major League Lacrosse. They were the Bridgeport Barrage from 2001 to 2003 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The team then relocated to Philadelphia from the 2004 season to the 2007 season when they became a traveling team for 2008. The San Francisco Dragons were a professional field lacrosse team based in San Francisco and San Jose, California. From 2006–2008, they played in Major League Lacrosse and they ceased operations before the 2009 season due to the economic situation in the United States. Franchise history The San Francisco Dragons were awarded an MLL franchise in July 2005. The original owners were Michael Levitt, Chris Bulger, and Charley Biggs.
