Pinyin
Hanyu Pinyin (), often shortened to just pinyin, is the official romanization system for Standard Mandarin Chinese in China, and to some extent, in Singapore and Malaysia. It is often used to teach Mandarin, normally written in Chinese form, to learners already familiar with the Latin alphabet. Antti Aleksi Siirala (born 16 May 1979 in Helsinki) is a Finnish pianist. Antti Siirala's international career was launched when he won First Prize in the 10th Vienna Beethoven competition as the youngest contestant, receiving the special award for the best performance of a late Beethoven sonata (op. 106 “Hammerklavier”). Severin von Eckardstein (born 1 August 1978) is a German classical pianist. He was born in Düsseldorf, and took his first piano lessons when he was six years old. At the age of 12, he was accepted into a young-talent class at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. During his school years, von Eckardstein continued his piano studies in Hannover and in Salzburg with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. After his graduation, he attended the Berlin University of the Arts to take lessons from Klaus Hellwig. Ilya Rashkovskiy (born 17 November 1984, in Irkutsk) is a Russian pianist. Education Ilya Rashkovskiy debuted with the Irkutsk Chamber Orchestra at the age of eight.
