Wayne Clarke (footballer)
Wayne Clarke (born 28 February 1961) is an English former professional footballer. Playing as a striker, he scored nearly 150 goals over the course of his career and was a member of the Everton team which finished as English league champions in 1987. He made almost 450 appearances in the Football League, playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Everton, Leicester City, Manchester City, Shrewsbury Town, Stoke City and Walsall. He is the youngest of five brothers. Frank, Allan, Derek and Kelvin who all played league football. Short Heath is a residential area situated north of the market town of Willenhall, in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, West Midlands, England. Short Heath is a ward in the Walsall North constituency, and is bordered by the neighbouring walls of Bentley and Darlaston North, Birchills Leamore, Willenhall North, and Willenhall South. Derek Clarke
Derek Clarke (born 19 February 1950) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League as a forward for Walsall, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Oxford United, where he spent the majority of his career, Orient and Carlisle United. He is the third of five footballing brothers, the others being Frank, Allan, Kelvin and Wayne, who all played League football. Clarke was born in Willenhall, and began his professional career at nearby Walsall. He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1968, but made just five appearances in two full seasons for the First Division club before moving to Oxford United in October 1970. He spent six years at Oxford, making 178 Second Division appearances, then left the Manor Ground when the club was relegated in 1976. Terry Butcher
Terry Ian Butcher (born 28 December 1958) is an English football manager and former player. He works as an academy coach for Ipswich Town. During his playing career as a defender, Butcher captained the England national team, winning 77 caps in a ten-year international career that featured three FIFA World Cups. Butcher also enjoyed success in his club career, particularly with Ipswich Town and Rangers. He has subsequently managed clubs in England, Scotland, Australia and Wales and also had a brief spell in charge of the Philippines national team. Mel Eves
Melvyn James Eves (born 10 September 1956) is an English former professional footballer who had a long career playing as a striker and left sided attacker, mostly known for his time with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Career Eves, born in the Miners Arms pub, Darlaston and brought up in the Red Lion in Wednesfield was educated at Wolverhampton Grammar School from 1968 to 1975 when he represented England as a Schoolboy International before joining Wolves who he had supported as a boy. 1977-78 Season He eventually made his debut at the age of 21 on 26 November 1977 against Ipswich Town at Molineux in the First Division. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. Brian Clough
Brian Howard Clough ( ; 21 March 1935 – 20 September 2004) was an English football player and manager, primarily known for his successes as a manager with Derby County and Nottingham Forest. He is one of four managers to have won the English league with two different clubs.
