Wallroda Dam (german: Talsperre Wallroda) is a dam near Radeberg, Germany. Construction The dam was built between 1986 and 1989 in near Radeberg and south of Großröhrsdorf Großröhrsdorf ( hsb, Wulke Rědorjecy) is a town in the district of Bautzen, in the eastern part of Saxony, Germany. It is situated 12 km west of Bischofswerda, and 22 km northeast of Dresden Dresden (, ; Upper Saxon: ''Dräsdn ..., with the intended purpose of supplying water to farms and fisheries in the area. It also has a small part in regional flood prevention strategies. Recreational activities Camping A campsite can be found on the northern bank of the dam. The district of Bautzen (german: Landkreis Bautzen, hsb, Wokrjes Budyšin) is a district in the state of Saxony in Germany. Radeberg
Radeberg is a small town in the district of Bautzen, Saxony, Germany. It is located approximately 20 kilometres north-east of Dresden. The town has an Evangelical and a Roman Catholic church, and an old castle. History Radeberg was mentioned for the first time in 1219, when farmers settled on the country to the large Roeder. The name of the place is probably derived from this river. In less than 150 years a market place, a castle and own units developed.
