WRMR (98.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a modern rock format. Licensed to Jacksonville, North Carolina, United States, the station serves the Wilmington and Jacksonville areas. Westwood One was an American radio network that was based in New York City. At one time, it was managed by CBS Radio, and was later purchased by the private equity firm, The Gores Group. The Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. (CBC) is an American media company based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The year 2006 saw a number of significant events in radio broadcasting.
