Vargarna Speedway
Vargarna are a Swedish motorcycle speedway team based in Norrköping, Sweden. The team race at the Norrköpings Motorstadion. History The name Vargarna literally translates into English as "The Wolves". The team won the Swedish Speedway Team Championship five times 1949, 1951, 1953, 1954, 1960 and 1961. In recent years the club has moved up and down leagues from the Elitserien to the second tier of Swedish speedway, the Allsvenskan (National League). During the 2022 Swedish Speedway season the club reached the Allsvenskan play off final. Perhaps the club's most notable rider in recent years was the former world champion Nicki Pedersen, who signed for the team in 2010. He captained the side before leaving the club for Dackarna Dackarna is a speedway club from Målilla in Sweden who compete in the Swedish Elitserien. Ricky Kling
Ricky Anders Kling (born 2 June 1987 in Virserum, Sweden) is a Swedish speedway rider from Sweden. Career Kling made his British League debut in 2007 with Oxford, but when they closed mid-season, he then joined Lakeside Hammers. He stayed with the Hammers for the 2008 Elite League speedway season, which was the same year in which he won the Swedish U21 title. Due to building constraints, he was forced to look elsewhere for the 2009 Elite League speedway season and joined the Eastbourne Eagles for two seasons. He the joined the Belle Vue Aces for the 2011 season and then Poole Pirates for the 2012 season. His final season in Britain was during the 2013 Premier League speedway season when he rode for the Plymouth Devils. In 2021, Kling made a one season comeback riding for Dackarna in the Elitserien. Peter Kildemand (born 1 September 1989) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career He is a member of the Danish national team. He was a member of the Swindon Robins Elite League Championship winning side of 2012 and was named "Rider of the Year" for the club at the end of the season. Kildemand was also part of the Fjelsted team that won the 2017 Danish Speedway League. He was captain of Västervik Speedway team in 2018. In 2022, he signed for King's Lynn Stars but was unable to race for them after sustaining a pre season injury. Martin Vaculík (born 5 April 1990) is a Slovak motorcycle speedway rider who is riding for the Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski in the Speedway Ekstraliga, Polish Speedway Ekstraliga.
