Ricky Kling
Ricky Anders Kling (born 2 June 1987 in Virserum, Sweden) is a Swedish speedway rider from Sweden. Career Kling made his British League debut in 2007 with Oxford, but when they closed mid-season, he then joined Lakeside Hammers. He stayed with the Hammers for the 2008 Elite League speedway season, which was the same year in which he won the Swedish U21 title. Due to building constraints, he was forced to look elsewhere for the 2009 Elite League speedway season and joined the Eastbourne Eagles for two seasons. He the joined the Belle Vue Aces for the 2011 season and then Poole Pirates for the 2012 season. His final season in Britain was during the 2013 Premier League speedway season when he rode for the Plymouth Devils. In 2021, Kling made a one season comeback riding for Dackarna in the Elitserien. Virserum
Virserum () is a locality situated in Hultsfred Municipality, Kalmar County, Sweden with 1,742 inhabitants in 2010. Prior to 1971 it was a ''köping''. The history of Virserum goes back to the Middle Ages, and in the 1950s the town was a centre for the furniture industry. The 2009 Elite League speedway season (also known as the Sky Sports Elite League for sponsorship reasons) was the 75th season of the top division of UK speedway and the 13th since its establishment as the Elite League in 1997. The European Pairs Speedway Championship is an annual speedway event held in different countries organized by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) since 2004. 2007 Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2007 Team Speedway Junior World Championship is the third FIM Team Speedway Junior World Championship season. The Final took place on 23 September 2007 in Abensberg, Germany. The World Championship was won by Poland U-21. It was third title for Poland. Poland team is only team who was won this competition (first staged in 2005). It was also a third title for Poland' captain Karol Ząbik and second title for Paweł Hlib and Krzysztof Buczkowski. In the final, Poland (40 points) beat Great Britain (36 pts), Czech Republic (30 pts) and Germany (13 pts). It was first medals for the British and Czech teams. Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship is a speedway competition to determine the World Championship for national Under-21 teams. The sport's equivalent of the Under-21 World Cup in football, as of 2022 the title is awarded to the winners of SON2, the Under-21 division of the Speedway of Nations. The first edition of the competition was in 2005 prior to its incorporation with the Speedway of Nations. Poland has dominated the competition winning the title record 15 times.
