Valencian Community Autonomous Football Team
The Valencian National football team is the national football team for the Valencian Community, Spain. They are not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA, because it is represented internationally by the Spain national football team. It only plays friendly matches, and has not organised a fixture since 2006. History Historically, the Valencian team has had two well-differentiated periods: the time of the regional team, during which it faced other regional teams (1918-1944) and the time of the regional team, during which it faced six national A teams. The Valencian football team made their debut against the South team on 19 November 1922 at the Campo de Algirós, in the quarter-finals of the 1922–23 Copa del Príncipe de Asturias, an official tournament organised by RFEF, and they lost 1-2. 1923–24 Prince Of Asturias Cup
The 1923–24 Prince of Asturias Cup was the sixth tournament of the Prince of Asturias Cup, which is an inter-regional football competition contested by the regional selections of Spain. The pre-favourites to win were the Catalan team because at that time they had great international figures such as the Spanish goalkeeper Ricardo Zamora or the Barcelona players Josep Samitier, the Filipino Paulino Alcántara and the Argentine Emili Sagi-Barba, and they proved the favouritism by prevailing in a dramatic final against a Castile/Madrid XI. Luis Colina Álvarez
Luis Colina Álvarez (12 August 1888 – 22 July 1956) was a Spanish football referee and a one-match manager of the Spanish national team. He was also briefly at the helm of the Real Madrid CF team during the 1919–20 season and was the third president of the National Committee of Referees from 1924 to 1926. Sporting career Athletic career Colina began his career as an active athlete in athletics, a discipline in which he excelled as a distance runner and pole vaulter. He trained for his athletic exercises in the famous gym of the ''Sociedad Gimnástica'', a multi-sport club that also had a football department, the sport to which he would end up dedicating his entire life. Spencer (Spanish Footballer)
Enrique Gómez Muñoz (20 July 1898 – 14 March 1926), known as Spencer, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Seville, Andalusia, Spencer spent the vast majority of his career at hometown club Sevilla FC, whom he joined in 1913 at the age of 15. In the 1914–15 season he changed his football nickname, which until then was Enrique, to Spencer, to mislead his father, who wanted him to stop playing football to concentrate on studies. Spencer also represented Real Oviedo, after being relocated to the city to perform his military service. International career On 16 December 1923, in only the 12th fixture of their existence, Spencer received his only cap for the Spanish national team, a 3–0 friendly win over neighbours Portugal. José González Brand, known as Pepe Brand (13 February 1900 – 1 July 1971) was a Spanish professional football player and manager associated with Sevilla FC, Real Jaén and CD Castellón. Club career A historical member of Sevilla in the 20s, he was one of the first footballers to play for Sevilla for his entire career, and thus be part of the so-called one-club men group. Enrique Peris
Enrique Peris de Vargas (27 February 1887 - 17 February 1953) was a Spanish footballer who played as a left winger. He spent most of his career at Barcelona, with whom he played over 300 matches. Club career Born in Barcelona, he began his career in 1903 at FC Internacional. Together with Paco Bru and Charles Wallace, he helped the club achieve three successive runner-up finishes in the Catalan championship between 1904 and 1906, losing out on the title to a different opponent each time, Club Español (now RCD Espanyol) FC Barcelona and X Sporting Club respectively. In 1906, the club had to suspend its activities due to a lack of players, and most of the players, including him, joined Barcelona in the 1906-07 season, playing first as a midfielder and finally as a left-winger. Juan Armet de Castellví, nicknamed "Kinké" (30 June 1895 in Terrassa – 5 October 1956 in Madrid) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward, and later a coach. The Royal Andalusian Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Andaluza de Fútbol; RFAF) is the football association responsible for all competitions of any form of football developed in Andalusia. It is integrated into the Royal Spanish Football Federation and its headquarters are located in Seville and has offices in the capitals of the provinces. Severiano Goiburu Lopetegui (8 November 1906 – 31 July 1982) was a Spanish footballer who played for the Spain national team. He played for many clubs in La Liga, most notably Barcelona.
