''Vacancy'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Bayside released on August 19, 2016 through Hopeless Records. Background ''Vacancy'' was recorded in March and April 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee, with producer Tim O'Heir. He acted as engineer, with additional engineering from Arun Bali of Saves the Day. Chris Sheldon mixed the album, before it was mastered by Howie Weinberg. Release On April 26, 2016, ''Vacancy'' was announced for release in August. In addition, the album's artwork was revealed. On May 13, "Enemy Lines" was made available for streaming and the album's track listing was revealed. A music video was released for "Pretty Vacant" on June 9, directed by Justin Giritlian and Nathan Sam. ''Vacancy'' was released on August 19 through Hopeless Records. In August and September, the group went on a headlining tour of the US with support from the Menzingers and Sorority Noise. Bayside (band)
Bayside is an American punk rock band from the Bayside, Queens neighborhood of New York City, formed in 2000 by lead vocalist Anthony Raneri. The group also consists of lead guitarist Jack O'Shea, bassist Nick Ghanbarian, and drummer Chris Guglielmo. Since their formation, the group has released eight full-length albums, with their debut, '' Sirens and Condolences'', in 2004, and the release of 2005's follow-up, '' Bayside'', launching the band into mainstream success. Say Anything is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2000 by Max Bemis and his friends, and within two years, self-released two EPs and a full-length album. In 2003, the band signed with their first label, Doghouse Records. A year later, they released their second album, '' ...Is a Real Boy''. To support the album, they picked up new members and began touring; however, despite rapidly growing critical and fan acclaim, Bemis' health problems, including bipolar disorder and drug addictions, sidelined the band in 2005 as five band members left during the year. Steve Soboslai (born October 30, 1980) is an American singer/songwriter. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based pop punk band Punchline. Soboslai has produced several records for various artists including Nightbeast (Thriving Records), Barely Blind (TDR Records), The Drama Summer ( Eulogy Records), and ThirtySeven. He appears on Bayside's 2005 self-titled release, singing back up vocals on the song "They Looked Like Strong Hands." Reggie and the Full Effect is an American rock band, the solo project of James Dewees, the former keyboardist for The Get Up Kids. It has released seven full-length albums, the latest in 2018, and has toured with various associated acts in their promotion. History Early years (1998–2004) In the mid-1990s when he was playing with Coalesce, Dewees recorded four songs on a cassette tape as a joke, and would hand them out at concerts. After Matt Pryor received one, he urged Dewees to contact Ed Rose to record the material.
