''Vacancy'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Bayside released on August 19, 2016 through Hopeless Records. Background ''Vacancy'' was recorded in March and April 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee, with producer Tim O'Heir. He acted as engineer, with additional engineering from Arun Bali of Saves the Day. Chris Sheldon mixed the album, before it was mastered by Howie Weinberg. Release On April 26, 2016, ''Vacancy'' was announced for release in August. In addition, the album's artwork was revealed. On May 13, "Enemy Lines" was made available for streaming and the album's track listing was revealed. A music video was released for "Pretty Vacant" on June 9, directed by Justin Giritlian and Nathan Sam. ''Vacancy'' was released on August 19 through Hopeless Records. Bayside (band)
Bayside is an American punk rock band from the Bayside, Queens neighborhood of New York City, formed in 2000 by lead vocalist Anthony Raneri. The group also consists of lead guitarist Jack O'Shea, bassist Nick Ghanbarian, and drummer Chris Guglielmo. Since their formation, the group has released eight full-length albums, with their debut, '' Sirens and Condolences'', in 2004, and the release of 2005's follow-up, '' Bayside'', launching the band into mainstream success. Say Anything is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2000 by Max Bemis and his friends, and within two years, self-released two EPs and a full-length album. In 2003, the band signed with their first label, Doghouse Records. A year later, they released their second album, '' ...Is a Real Boy''. To support the album, they picked up new members and began touring; however, despite rapidly growing critical and fan acclaim, Bemis' health problems, including bipolar disorder and drug addictions, sidelined the band in 2005 as five band members left during the year. Say Anything signed with J Records in 2005 and, following Bemis' successful rehabilitation, re-released ''...Is a Real Boy'' with their new label. Steve Soboslai (born October 30, 1980) is an American singer/songwriter. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based pop punk band Punchline. Soboslai has produced several records for various artists including Nightbeast (Thriving Records), Barely Blind (TDR Records), The Drama Summer ( Eulogy Records), and ThirtySeven. He appears on Bayside's 2005 self-titled release, singing back up vocals on the song "They Looked Like Strong Hands." Soboslai's also lent his vocal talent to the song "What a Waste of Time" for the Spontaneo album "For Those Who Can Whistle," as well as on the 2008 album "Columbus" by Andrew Dost of the band fun. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Hot Rod Circuit (HRC) is an American emo band from Auburn, Alabama, established in 1997. History Early years The band was originally known as ''Antidote'' under which they released the album ''Mr. Glenboski'', which won the group the award of ''Best Unsigned Band of 1998'' by Musician Magazine. Reggie and the Full Effect is an American rock band, the solo project of James Dewees, the former keyboardist for The Get Up Kids. It has released seven full-length albums, the latest in 2018, and has toured with various associated acts in their promotion. History Early years (1998–2004) In the mid-1990s when he was playing with Coalesce, Dewees recorded four songs on a cassette tape as a joke, and would hand them out at concerts. After Matt Pryor received one, he urged Dewees to contact Ed Rose to record the material. With Pryor's help, Dewees recorded and released Reggie and the Full Effect's first album, ''Greatest Hits 1984–1987'', on Second Nature Recordings in 1999. In April 2000, Reggie released their second full-length, ''Promotional Copy'', on Vagrant Records. The album caused much confusion in stores because of the album art, which is styled in the same manner as a promotional recording which is not intended to be sold.
