Stanislas Nordey (born 1966) is a French actor and theatre director. He is the son of actress Véronique Nordey and film director Jean-Pierre Mocky. Biography Nordey was born in Paris. After his studies at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, he made his directorial debut in 1988, with ''La Dispute'' by Marivaux at the Théâtre Pitoëff in Geneva. He is known for his innovative directing, in particular, texts by Pier Paolo Pasolini (''Bêtes de style'' in 1992 at the Festival d'Avignon ''Off'', ''Porcherie'', etc.) and by Werner Schwab, and also for his direction of operas. Tania Balachova (Russian: Таня Балашова, diminutive of Татьяна Павловна Балашова atiana Pavlovna Balachova (1902-1973) was a French actress and director of Russian origin. After World War II, she would become one of the most influential actor training teachers in France. Early life Balachova was born in Saint Petersburg on February 25, 1902. Her family emigrated to Brussels, where she studied at the Royal Conservatory. It was at the conservatory that she met her future husband, the Belgian actor Raymond Rouleau. Career Balachova and Rouleau married and moved together to Paris. There, they collaborated with Gaston Baty, Charles Dullin, Louis Jouvet, Georges Pitoëff and Antonin Artaud, among others. They separated in 1940, though they continued to work together professionally. Raymond Rouleau
Raymond Rouleau (4 June 1904 – 11 December 1981) was a Belgian actor and film director. He appeared in more than 40 films between 1928 and 1979. He also directed 22 films between 1932 and 1981. Rouleau studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he met Tania Balachova. They emigrated to Paris together and collaborated with a variety of directors at the cutting edge of French theatre, including Charles Dullin and Gaston Baty. They married in France and separated in 1940. He subsequently married the actress Françoise Lugagne. Jean-Pierre Mocky (6 July 1929 – 8 August 2019), pseudonym of Jean-Paul Adam Mokiejewski, was a French film director, actor, screenwriter and producer. Life and career Mocky was born in Nice, France to Polish immigrant parents, Jeanne Zylinska and Adam Mokiejewski. His father was Jewish and his mother was Catholic. Mocky appeared as an actor in the 1955 film ''The Abandoned (1955 film), Gli Sbandati'' and in many other movies, including some of those he also directed (''Solo (1969 film), Solo'', ''L'albatros'', ''L'Ombre d'une chance'', ''Un Linceul n'a pas de poches'').
