Véronik Mallet
Véronik Mallet (born June 11, 1994) is a retired Canadian figure skater. She is the 2022 Canadian national silver medalist, a two-time Canadian national bronze medalist (2015, 2019) and has finished in the top 10 at Four Continents Championships 2019. Personal life Véronik Mallet was born on June 11, 1994, in Sept-Îles, Quebec. After attending a CEGEP in Sorel-Tracy, she enrolled at Université du Québec à Montréal. Career Early years Mallet started skating in 1997. As a child, she trained in Sept-Îles, Quebec. Around 2008, she began traveling to Contrecœur, Quebec, to train under Annie Barabé. 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy was held on September 26–28, 2013 at the Eislaufzentrum Oberstdorf. It is held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany and is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain. Medals were awarded in men's and ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Nebelhorn was the last qualifying event for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Overview Though most Olympic spots were earned at the 2013 World Championships, six spots in each of men's and ladies' singles, four in pair skating, and five in ice dance were available at Nebelhorn for countries which remained without a berth in a discipline. 2015 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2015 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships was a Senior ISU figure skating championship held in the 2014–15 season. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing for the title of Four Continents Champion. The event's name refers to the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, which are four of the continents represented in the Olympic rings, omitting Europe. In February 2015, the Korea Skating Union organised a competition that was held at the Mokdong Ice Rink in Seoul, South Korea. The rink has a seating capacity of 5,000 spectators. The 2015 competition featured a total of ninety-one athletes from fifteen nations from North America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. 2015 Canadian Figure Skating Championships
The 2015 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships were held January 19–25, 2015 in Kingston, Ontario. Organized by Skate Canada and sponsored by Canadian Tire, the event determined the national champions of Canada. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Although the official International Skating Union terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ''ladies'', Skate Canada uses ''women'' officially. The 2014–15 ISU Challenger Series was held from September to December 2014. It was the inaugural season of a group of senior-level international figure skating competitions ranked below the Grand Prix series. The 2014 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2013–14 season. It was held at the Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan on January 20–26. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event featured a total of 94 athletes from 15 nations from North America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. There were 29 competitors in the men's event and 21 competitors in the ladies' event. There was also 7 pair teams and 15 ice dancing teams. Venues The competition was held at the Taipei Arena.
