2014 Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2014 Nebelhorn Trophy was a senior international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. Part of the 2014–15 ISU Challenger Series, it was held on 24–27 September 2014 at the Eislaufzentrum Oberstdorf. Medals were awarded in men's and ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four ( men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. The ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating is a separate competition series in the discipline of synchronized skating. History The ISU Council decided to create the series at its February 2014 meeting. Eleven competitions were selected in June 2014. The Triglav Trophy dropped out by October 10, 2014, resulting in a series composed of ten events. Andrew Dodds (born 2 August 1991) is an Australian figure skater who competes in both men's singles and ice dance. As a single skater, he is a three-time Australian national silver medalist and has competed in the final segment at four Four Continents Championships. As an ice dancer with partner Chantelle Kerry, he is a two-time Australian national champion (2017, 2018) and has appeared at two Four Continents. François-Xavier Ouellette (born February 13, 1992) is a Canadian former competitive ice dancer. With Élisabeth Paradis, he won bronze medals at the 2015 CS U.S. International Classic and at the 2016 Canadian Nationals. Career Early in his career, Ouellette skated with Jessica Aquino. Maxime Deschamps (born December 20, 1991) is a Canadian pair skater. With his skating partner, Deanna Stellato-Dudek, he is the 2023 Four Continents bronze medalist, 2022 Grand Prix de France champion, 2022 Skate America silver medallist, 2022 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and 2023 Canadian national champion. Vanessa Grenier
Vanessa Grenier (born April 15, 1992) is a Canadian former competitive pair skater. With Maxime Deschamps, she placed 8th at the 2016 Four Continents Championships and competed at three Grand Prix events. Career Single skating Grenier began learning to skate in 1995. She won the silver medal in the junior women's event at the 2008 Canadian Championships and went on to compete at three ISU Junior Grand Prix events. Liam Firus (born July 2, 1992) is a Canadian retired figure skater. He is the 2016 Triglav Trophy champion and a three-time Canadian national medallist (silver in 2016, bronze in 2014–15). Personal life Elladj Baldé was born November 9, 1990 in Moscow to a Russian mother and a Guinean father, Ibrahim, from the village of Tombon, near Labé.
