Václav Milík Jr. (born 22 May 1993) is a Czech speedway rider. He is a member of the Czech Republic national speedway team. He is a son of former Czechoslovak and Czech speedway rider Václav Milík Sr. Biography Václav Milík Jr. was born on 22 May 1993, Čáslav, Czech Republic. He is an eight times champion of the Czech Republic, after winning the Czech Republic Championship in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. With Krystian Pieszczek he won the Czech Under-21 Pairs Final in 2014. In 2022, he helped Wilki Krosno win the 2022 1.Liga. In 2023, he was part of the Czech team that competed at the 2023 Speedway World Cup in Poland and later in the season he won his eighth individual national Championship and third in succession. Milík returned to British speedway in 2024, after signing for Birmingham Brummies. He rode for the Czech Republic during the 2024 Speedway of Nations (world team championship). Automotoklub Zlatá Přilba Pardubice is a Czech motorcycle speedway team based in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The club take its name Zlatá Přilba after the prestigious competition known as the Golden Helmet of Pardubice. History The team race at the Svítkov Stadium and were four-times champions of the former Czechoslovakia. The team started life known as KAMK Pardubice before taking the Golden Helmet name. However, in 1983 the stadium became a centre for the Svazarm and the site was known as a centre of professional sports. 2010 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship
The 2010 European Individual Speedway Junior Championship is the 13th edition of the UEM Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. The Final took place on 24 July 2010 in Goričan, Croatia. The champion title was won by Dennis Andersson from Sweden who beat two Poles Przemysław Pawlicki and Patryk Dudek in Run-off. Pawlicki was a defending champion. It was first champion title for Sweden since 2004, when Antonio Lindbäck won at Rybnik, Poland. It was second final in Goričan; in 2006 won host rider Jurica Pavlič. European Under-19 Individual Speedway Championship
The European Under-19 Individual Speedway Championship is an annual Motorcycle speedway, speedway event organised by FIM Europe (formerly the Union Européenne de Motocyclisme, European Motorcycle Union (UEM)) since 1998. Championship history The European Under-19 Championship was inaugurated in 1998, under the control of the Union Européenne de Motocyclisme, European Motorcycle Union (UEM). Between 2013 and 2020, it was known as the European Under-21 Individual Speedway Championship, when it was expanded to include riders up to the age of 21 years of age. The 2010 Team Speedway Junior World Championship was the sixth Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, FIM Team Speedway Junior World Championship, Team Under-21 World Championship season. 2009 Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2009 Team Speedway Junior World Championship was the fifth annual FIM Team Under-21 World Championship competition since its introduction in 2005. The final took place on 5 September 2009, in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. It was the second final held in Poland, but the first in Gorzów; in 2006, the final took place in Rybnik, where Poland beat Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Format The final consisted of the host team and the defending champions Poland. The other finalists were determined in two qualifying rounds (semi-finals). In Abensberg, Germany on 1 June was Sweden (3rd place in 2008 Final), Australia (4th place), Great Britain and host team Germany. Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship is a motorcycle speedway, speedway competition to determine the World Championship for national Under-21 teams (the sport's equivalent of the Under-21 World Cup in football). As of 2022, the event has been known as the Speedway of Nations 2, the Under-21 division of the Speedway of Nations. The first edition of the competition was in 2005 prior to its incorporation with the Speedway of Nations. This page describes the qualifying procedure for the 2010 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship finals. The 2010 FIM Speedway Under 21 World Championship events took place from April to June 2010. In a new format approved by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), there were three final meetings with fourteen permanent riders and two wild cards and two track reserves. The permanent riders was determined in five Qualifying Round and two Semi-Finals. Qualification system In five Qualifying Round was started 80 riders and to Semi-Finals was qualify top 6 from each meetings. This 30 riders and 2 riders from Semi-Final' host federations (Matija Duh of Slovenia and Kevin Wölbert of Germany) was started in two Semi-Finals. 2010 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2010 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship was the 34th edition of the FIM World motorcycle speedway Under-21 Championships. For the first time a champion would be determined from three races between 17 July and 2 October 2010. Three riders (the 2009 Champion Darcy Ward, Maciej Janowski and Maksims Bogdanovs all tied on 30 points after the three races meaning a run-off was needed to decide the medals. Ward became the second rider to win the Under-21 World Champion title twice, after Emil Sayfutdinov (2007 and 2008 champion) after beating Janowksi and Bogdanovs in the run-off. 2024 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2024 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 30th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 79th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the third series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. A new sprint race was introduced at selected Grand Prix during the qualifying session, with the fastest rider in each qualifying session progressing to a single race for extra points. The idea behind the sprint race was similar to that brought into the Formula One, whereby the qualifying sessions were given more importance. Bartosz Zmarzlik successfully defended the title, which was his third in a row and a fifth overall. Robert Lambert took second place with Fredrik Lindgren in third.
