Vox Populi (Jericho Episode)
"Vox Populi" (Latin, "'' voice of the people''") is the eleventh episode of season one of the CBS drama ''Jericho''. Plot At the beginning of the episode, a message is sent to Robert Hawkins via his basement computer, saying "Traitor Identified. Make Contact ASAP". Hawkins is about to reply when his son calls him to teach him to play football. Dale discovers Gracie Leigh's lifeless body in a pool of blood. Mitchell Cafferty arrives during the investigation, claiming that Jonah Prowse is the culprit, but Mayor Green is dubious. Gray Anderson heads a lynch mob and uses the town's anger for his own political gain. Jonah shows up at Emily's house, claiming he was stabbed by Mitchell. ''Jericho'' is an American post-apocalyptic action drama television series, which centers on the residents of the fictional city of Jericho, Kansas, in the aftermath of a nuclear attack on 23 major cities in the contiguous United States. It was produced by CBS Paramount Network Television and Junction Entertainment, with executive producers Jon Turteltaub, Stephen Chbosky, and Carol Barbee. It was shown in more than 30 countries. "Nothing Compares 2 U" is a song written and composed by Prince for his side project, The Family; the song featured on their eponymous 1985 debut album. The song features lyrics exploring feelings of longing from the point of view of an abandoned lover. Several years later, Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor recorded a version of the song for her second studio album, ''I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got'' (1990). It was released as the album's second single in early 1990 and became a worldwide hit. "Red Flag" is the tenth episode of season one of the CBS drama ''Jericho''. Plot On the eve of Thanksgiving, Jake, Stanley and an unidentified man are hunting for turkeys. A Chinese aircraft airdrops several parcels. Finding one such parcel in a field, they open it to discover that it is stocked with food. Stanley arrives home to discover not only that Mimi has already helped herself to some chocolate from a food parcel but also that another airdropped container contains a generator. He sends Mimi off to tell Jake. Mayor Green, Jake and Hawkins organize a raid on Jonah's compound to retrieve the generator.
