Volodymyr Harbuz
Volodymyr Harbuz ( uk, Володимир Васильович Гарбуз, russian: Владимир Васильевич Гарбуз; b. 21 December 1951 in Karapyshi, Kiev Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian painter and graphic artist He is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1988, and repeated nominee of the Shevchenko National Prize. His pictorial and graphic works are represented and have been exhibited in many Ukrainian and foreign museums (Australia, Canada, Poland, Slovakia), as well as in private collections. Beet

''Kobzar'' (Ukrainian: Кобзар, "The bard"), is a book of poems by Ukrainian poet and painter Taras Shevchenko, first published by him in 1840 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Taras Shevchenko was nicknamed ''The Kobzar'' after the publishing of this book. From that time on this title has been applied to Shevchenko's poetry in general and acquired a symbolic meaning of the Ukrainian national and literary revival. Mykola Hlushchenko
Mykola Hlushchenko ( uk, Микола Петрович Глущенко; 17 September 1901 – 31 October 1977) was a Ukrainian artist. He was a winner of the Shevchenko National Prize in 1972. Biography Hlushchenko was born in Novomoskovske, Yekaterinoslav Governorate, Russian Empire. Novomoskovsk is known for the fact that in the 17th century the site was occupied by several villages of Zaporozhian Cossacks. At the early age Mykola moved to Yuzivka where he attended classes in drawing and became fond by artwork of Illia Ripin and Vasilkivsky. After escaping a prisoner-of-war camp in Poland during World War I he made his way to Germany where his love for art brought him to the private studio of Hans Baluschek in Berlin. Mykola Hlushchenko was noted by critics who reviewed several of his paintings submitted to the Kasper Art Gallery in Berlin in 1924. The National Union of Artists of Ukraine (Ukrainian: ; Spilka khudozhnykiv Ukrainy) which was founded in 1938 is an all-Ukrainian public creative organization of professional artists and art critics.
