Voila, Brașov
Voila (german: Wolldorf; hu, Voila) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Cincșor (''Kleinschenk''; ''Kissink''), Dridif (''Dridif''), Ludișor (''Ludisor''), Sâmbăta de Jos (''Untermühlendorf''; ''Alsószombatfalva''), Voila, and Voivodeni (''Nagyvajdafalva''). It included Sâmbăta de Sus and Stațiunea Climaterică Sâmbăta villages until 2003, when these were split off to form Sâmbăta de Sus commune. The Voila commune is located in the western part of the county, in the historic Țara Făgărașului region, on the left bank of the river Olt. The rivers Breaza and Sâmbăta discharge into the Olt at Voila. The Voila Hydropower Plant on the Olt River has a reservoir with a capacity of of water, which covers an area of . Făgăraș Mountains
The Făgăraș Mountains ( ro, Munții Făgărașului ; hu, Fogarasi-havasok) are the highest mountains of the Southern Carpathians, in Romania. Geography The mountain range is situated in the heart of Romania, at . The range is bordered in the north by the Făgăraș Depression, through which the Olt River flows, and in the west by the Olt Valley (Valea Oltului). Despite its name, Făgăraș, located to the north, is not the nearest town to the mountain range, which has no major settlements. Other important surrounding cities are Brașov and Sibiu. Sâmbăta De Sus
Sâmbăta de Sus (german: Obermühlendorf; hu, Felsőszombatfalva) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Sâmbăta de Sus and Stațiunea Climaterică Sâmbăta (''Felsőszombatfalvi üdülőtelep''). Formerly part of Voila commune, these villages were split off to form a separate commune in 2003. Geography Sâmbăta de Sus is located in the western part of the county, on the northern slopes of the Făgăraș Mountains, in the historic Țara Făgărașului region.
