Vivek Raghunath Pandit alias Bhau is an Indian social worker. After completing education he left Mumbai and went to rural areas with his wife Vidyullata. In early stage he started developmental work helping poor people from Dahisar village in Vasai. In1982 he established an organization called Shramajeevi Sanghatana. He released bonded labors. For his excellent work he was awarded by The International Anti-slavery award in 1999. Maharashtra Legislative Assembly
The Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha or the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the legislature of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated in the Nariman Point area of South Mumbai in the capital Mumbai. Presently, 288 members of the Legislative Assembly are directly elected from the single-seat constituencies. The members of the upper house, the Maharashtra Vidhan Parishad (the legislative council) are indirectly elected through an electoral college. He is the president of Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi, political party in the Vasai-Virar region of Maharashtra, India.
