Vikki Blanche
Vikki Blanche (born 1966 or 1967) is an Australian actress and director. She made her television debut in the children's series '' Home'' in 1983, followed by a role in the ABC drama ''The Keepers''. Shortly after graduating from the National Theatre in late 1984, Blanche was cast as Julie Robinson in the soap opera '' Neighbours'', which began airing in March 1985. She received praise for her performance from critics, but after seven months she decided to leave the serial so she would not be typecast in the future. Blanche joined the cast of ''The Flying Doctors'' as Paula Patterson in 1988. She also appeared in the sitcom '' Col'n Carpenter'' and the 1991 miniseries '' Rose Against the Odds''. Blanche then spent 18 months living and studying acting in New York City. ''Home'' is an Australian children's television series first broadcast on the ABC on 11 April 1983. It follows the stories and adventures of children living at the fictional Westmere children's home. The series featured a revolving cast with story arcs running across two to six episodes, although some characters appeared in more than one story arc. Production ''Home'' was written by Graeme Farmer and directed by Richard Sarell, Walter Boston, Noel Price and Douglas Sharp. It was the biggest production to come from the network's children's unit at the time, and featured more than 400 young actors in the cast. The series is set in a community of welfare cottages and centres on the children who come to live there. Broadcast The series aired on ABC Monday to Friday in a 6:00 pm timeslot. The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre is a full-time professional conservatory for actors in New York City. First operational from 1915 to 1927, the school re-opened in 1928 and has been active ever since. Lionel Edmund Rose MBE (21 June 1948 – 8 May 2011) was an Australian former professional boxer who competed from 1964 to 1976. He held the undisputed WBA, WBC, and ''The Ring'' bantamweight titles from 1968 to 1969, becoming the first Indigenous Australian to win a world title. Neil Mullane Finn (born 27 May 1958) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and musician who is known for being a member of Crowded House, Split Enz (which he co-fronted with brother Tim), and Fleetwood Mac. Finn rose to prominence in the late 1970s with Split Enz and wrote many of the band's most successful songs, including " One Step Ahead", "History Never Repeats", " I Got You", and "Message to My Girl".
