Vijay Kumar Chaudhary
Vijay Kumar Chaudhary (born 8 January 1957) is an Indian politician. He has been a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly since 1982, and is currently serving as the Cabinet Minister for Finance, Commercial Taxes and Parliamentary Affairs ministries in the Government of Bihar. He has previously held the posts of Speaker of Bihar Vidhan Sabha , Leader of Janata Dal (United) Legislature Party in Bihar Legislative Assembly and the Minister for Education, Water Resources, Rural Development, Rural Works Engineering, Information & Public Relations, Agriculture, Animal and Fish Resources ministries in the Government of Bihar. He is considered to be the Number 2 in JDU's pecking order of the Bihar cabinet and is a member of Nitish Kumar's core committee which shapes policies of the Government and the party. Dalsinghsarai or Dalsing Sarai is a city in the Samastipur District of Bihar, which is situated on the bank of the river Balan. Dalsinghsarai city was a tobacco and indigo production center during the British time. There is a myth about the city is that Dalsinghsarai was the first railway station of Bihar and the second of India. Dalsingh Sarai is a city council or Nagar Parishad. Bashistha Narain Singh
Bashistha Narain Singh, is a politician from Janata Dal (United). He is a Member of the Parliament of India representing Bihar in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He had served as Bihar state President of Janata Dal (United), the ruling party of the state. In January 2021, he was succeeded by Umesh Kushwaha to the post of Bihar state chief of JD (U). Jitan Ram Manjhi
Jitan Ram Manjhi (born 6 October 1944) is an Indian politician from the eastern state of Bihar who served as its 23rd Chief Minister from 20 May 2014 to 20 February 2015. He is President of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM). Previously, he had served as minister for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes welfare in Nitish Kumar's cabinet. He has been a minister in several Bihar state governments, under multiple chief ministers like Chandrashekhar Singh, Bindeshwari Dubey, Satyendra Narayan Sinha, Jagannath Mishra, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. October 2005 Bihar Legislative Assembly Election
Bihar Assembly elections were held twice in the year 2005. There was a fractured verdict in the ''February 2005 Assembly Election''. Bhumihar Brahmin
Bhumihars, also called Babhan, are a Hindu caste mainly found in Bihar (including the Mithila region), the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh, and Nepal. Ram Lakhan Mahato (27 July 1947 – 31 January 2020) was an Indian politician from Bihar belonging to Janata Dal (United). He was a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
