Victor Regalado
Victor Regalado (born 15 April 1948) is a Mexican professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Early life Regalado was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. Amateur career As an amateur, he played in tournaments in the San Diego, California area just across the border from his home. He represented Mexico twice in the amateur worlds, the Eisenhower Trophy. In 1970 in Madrid, Spain, finished on top of the individual competition, two strokes ahead of Dale Hayes, South Africa, and the Mexican team finished fifth. Professional career Regaldo turned professional in 1971. He had just over 30 top-10 finishes in PGA Tour events including two wins. His first win came at the 1974 Pleasant Valley Classic. His second win came at a tournament in which he enjoyed a great deal of career success: the Ed McMahon-Jaycees Quad Cities Open. He won there in 1978, after finishing runner-up the year before. Carlos Ortiz Becerra (born 24 April 1991) is a Mexican professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. He won the 2020 Vivint Houston Open on the PGA Tour. He now plays in the LIV Golf League. Early life Ortiz was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He played college golf in the United States at the University of North Texas. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Dan Halldorson
Daniel Albert Halldorson (April 2, 1952 – November 18, 2015) was a Canadian professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Canadian Tour. Halldorson was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and raised in Brandon, Manitoba. He did not attend college and turned pro in 1971. He joined the Canadian Tour in 1973 and the PGA Tour in 1975. Halldorson had seven career wins on the Canadian Tour and its predecessors. He won one official PGA Tour event, the 1980 Pensacola Open, and finished a career best 36th on the PGA Tour money list that year. He won the unofficial Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic in 1986. Halldorson was a member of seven WGC-World Cup Canadian national teams (1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1991) including two winning teams (1980, 1985). Frank Conner (golfer)
Frank Conner (born January 11, 1946) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour. He was also an accomplished amateur tennis player. He, Ellsworth Vines and G. H. "Pete" Bostwick Jr. are the only men to play in the U.S. Open in both tennis and golf. Life and career Conner was born in Vienna, Austria, where his father was stationed with the U.S. Army. He competed in the U.S. Open in tennis in 1965, 1966, and 1967. He attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, graduating in 1970 with a degree in Business Administration. While at Trinity he was an All-American in tennis in 1968. He was elected to Trinity's Hall of Fame in 2001. Conner gave up playing tennis and turned to golf, turning professional in 1971. Woody T. Blackburn (born July 26, 1951) is an American former professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in the 1970s and 1980s. Blackburn was born in Pikeville, Kentucky. He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he played for coach Buster Bishop's Florida Gators men's golf team from 1972 to 1975. It is played annually in July, usually the week before The Open Championship, at TPC Deere Run in the Quad Cities community of Silvis, Illinois. Fred Marti
Fred Walter Marti (born November 15, 1940) is an American professional golfer. Marti was born in Houston, Texas. He played college golf at the University of Houston with Homero Blancas, Dick Crawford, Babe Hiskey, Rocky Thompson, and Kermit Zarley. He was a member of the 1962 team that went undefeated and won the NCAA Division I Championship. Marti turned professional in 1964. He played the PGA Tour from 1964 to 1980. His best finishes were a trio of second places: 2nd at the 1971 Kaiser International Open Invitational, 2nd at the 1972 Colonial National Invitation, and 2nd at the 1978 Ed McMahon-Jaycees Quad Cities Open. His best finish in a major was a T-9 at the 1971 PGA Championship.
