Vibenshus Runddel Station
Vibenshus Runddel station is an underground Copenhagen Metro station located at Vibenshus Runddel, at the corner of Jagtvej and Nørre Allé, in the Outer Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is on the City Circle Line (M3), between Poul Henningsens Plads and Skjolds Plads, and is in Zone 2. History Preparations such as wire work and archeological excavations began ultimo 2010 and construction work began ultimo 2012. The station was opened on 29 September 2019 together with 16 other stations of the line. Design The main staircase faces Vibenhus Runddel and a secondary emergency staircase faces the other way. The escalator shaft is clad with white panels with exposed undersides in the colours yellow, green, blue, red and orange. There are 39 stations in the Copenhagen Metro, a driverless rapid transit system serving Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and Tårnby in Denmark. The park Fælledparken in Copenhagen, Denmark, was created 1906–1914 by landscape architect Edvard Glæsel in cooperation with the Copenhagen Municipality on the commons (Danish: ''fælled'') previously named ''Nørrefælled'' and ''Østerfælled''. Østerbro () (literally, "Eastern Bridge") is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located just north of the city centre, outside the old city gate Østerport which, after it was moved around 1700, used to be located close to present-day Østerport Station. Nørre Allé
Nørre Alle (literally "North Avenue") is a street in Copenhagen, Denmark, running from Blegdamsvej in Nørrebro in the south to Vibenshus Runddel in Østerbro in the north. It runs through University of Copenhagen's North Campus which is centred on its junction with Tagensvej. The section north of the junction, which separates Fælledparken to the east from the University Park to the west, is a busy artery. De Gamles By is situated on the west side of the more quiet, western portion. History The avenue was constructed across Nørrefælled (North Common) in 1744.
