Anna "Vera" Vitali (born 3 October 1981) is a Swedish actress and playwright, who stars as Lisa in the drama series '' Bonus Family''. Biography Anna Vera Vitali was born October 3, 1981 in Stockholm. Vera Vitali grew up in a film family. Her father Leon Vitali worked as Stanley Kubrick's production assistant and also starred in his last films. Her mother, Kersti Vitali, has worked as a costumier for a number of large Swedish films, musicals and theater productions. Through her father's work, she visited the London set of Kubrick's film '' Full Metal Jacket''. Her brother Max Vitali is also an actor. She studied acting at Stockholms Elementära Teaterskola, and she also studied in New York. She acted in the premiere of the play ''Bageriet'' at the Orion Theatre in 2007. ''Involuntary'' ( sv, De ofrivilliga) is a 2008 Swedish film directed by Ruben Östlund described as "a tragic comedy or comic tragedy." It features five parallel stories with human group behaviour as the common theme. The film is notable for its long takes with no cuts within the scenes. This is related to Östlund's background as a skiing film director, where a cut would only indicate failure. The longest scene lasts for seven minutes. The film received mainly positive reviews. It has won several awards at international film festivals and was nominated for five Swedish Guldbagge Awards including Best Film, but didn't win in any category. It was also selected as Sweden's submission for Best Foreign Language Film at the 82nd Academy Awards. Jan Arnald (born 11 January 1963) is a Swedish novelist and literary critic, whose pen name is Arne Dahl. He has become famous with crime fiction, and he is also a regular writer in Swedish newspaper ''Dagens Nyheter''. He published ''Barbarer'' (2001) and ''Maria och Artur'' (2006) under his own name, but under his pen name he has written a series of crime novels about a fictional group of Swedish crime investigators, called "A Gruppen" in Swedish and "the Intercrime Group" in the first English translation. The books are translated into several languages. The first five books were made into 180-minute films, screened as two 90-minute episodes per story. ''Cornelis'' is a 2010 Swedish biographical drama film directed by Amir Chamdin, about the life of the musician Cornelis Vreeswijk. The soundtrack of the film was composed by Cornelis' son Jack Vreeswijk. Ruben Östlund
Ruben Östlund (born 13 April 1974) is a Swedish filmmaker best known for his black comedic and satirical films ''Force Majeure'' (2014), '' The Square'' (2017) and ''Triangle of Sadness'' (2022), all of which received largely positive reviews and won awards at the Cannes Film Festival, including the Palme d'Or for the latter two. Life and career Östlund was born in Styrsö, Gothenburg Municipality, Sweden. After high school, he started working in various ski resorts in the Alps during the winter seasons. While in the Alps, he began making skiing videos for his friends, which helped him obtain a job at a local production company.
