Edgar Ramón Muñoz Mata (born December 22, 1983) is a boxer from Venezuela, who participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native South American country. Muñoz won the bronze medal in the same division in 2003 at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo. He qualified for the Olympic Games by ending up in first place at the 1st AIBA American 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Tijuana, Mexico.
