Vellithira (2003 Film)
''Vellithira'' () is a 2003 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film written and directed by Bhadran. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Navya Nair. The story is about a young man who is working hard to raise his sister. The music was composed by debutant Alphons Joseph. The songs were charbusters at that time, particularly the song "Pachamanga Pachamanga". Plot A teenage girl named Thatha is living with her blacksmith brother Vakkathi Vasu and his wife and children. Style Raj is a guy who moves from place to place with a movie projector and shows movie to public on the run for a living. He meets Thatha and falls in love. Vasu discovers that Raj is actually the murderer of the landlord who killed his father. In the end Raj is sent to jail. Bhadran (director)
Bhadran Mattel is an Indian filmmaker and writer, whose career spans more than 40 years. Bhadran's body of work addresses such themes as victimization of ill-mannered parenting, concepts of psychological trauma's and redemption, objectification of fatherhood, childhood distresses, intense metaphorical placements of matter and animals, Biblical inspired backdrops, and autocrat Christian culture in typical parts of Kerala. Machan Varghese
M. L. Varghese (1960 – 3 February 2011), popularly known by stage name Machan Varghese, was a Malayalam film actor and mimicry artist. He started his career as a mimicry artist in Kalabhavan (house of arts) and debuted as an actor through ''Kabooliwala''. Thereafter he played many notable roles in Malayalam films, mainly as a comedian. His association with Siddique-Lal, Rafi-Mecartin and Lal Jose are particularly noted. Within a career of nearly two decades, he acted in over 100 films. Varghese died on 3 February 2011 in Kozhikode of cancer. He was aged 50. Education & Family M. L.
