Vega (band)
Vega is a Turkish alternative rock band, founded by keyboardist Gökhan Mert Koral (also vocalist on some songs), vocalist Deniz Özbey, and guitarist Esat Tuğrul Akyüz in 1996. Gökhan Mert Koral left the group in early 2003. They played in many Turkish festivals like Rock'n Coke. Their biggest hits were "Bu Sabahların Bir Anlamı Olmalı", "Serzenişte", and "Elimde Değil". For their first album ''Tamam Sustum'', the group collaborated with Turgay Gülaydın from Athena and Burak Karataş from Kargo. Career Foundation and first album Vega was founded in 1996 by guitarist Tuğrul Akyüz, keyboardist Mert Koral and vocalist Deniz Özbey. Akyüz and Koral knew each other from their time at the ITU Electronic Engineering and were making music in English since 1992. GRGDN
GRGDN is a Turkish music production and artist management company and record label based in Istanbul. The name of the company originates from the Turkish word ''gergedan'' which means rhinoceros. It was founded in 2003 by OIART-graduated producer Haluk Kurosman and Hadi Elazzi, who had previously worked for such companies like Sire Records (Warner Music) or Sony Music Turkey. The company has its own recording studio in Ulus, Istanbul and does the management of several renowned Turkish artists. In 2011 Haluk Kurosman parted ways with GRGDN to become a freelance producer. Rock'n Coke was the biggest open Turkish rock festival sponsored by Coca-Cola. It was traditionally held at the Hezarfen Airfield in Istanbul, Turkey. Athena (band)
Athena is a rock/ska band from Istanbul, Turkey, founded by twin brothers Hakan Özoğuz (guitar and backing vocals) and Gökhan Özoğuz (lead vocals and guitar) in 1987. Kargo
Kargo is a rock band from Istanbul, Turkey. Its current line-up includes Selim Öztürk on electric guitar, Burak Karataş on drums and Ozan Anlaş on vocals. History The band was formed in the early years of the 1990s by Selim Öztürk (guitar) and Mehmet Şenol Şişli (bass guitar).
