Kargo
Kargo is a rock band from Istanbul, Turkey. Its current line-up includes Selim Öztürk on electric guitar, Burak Karataş on drums and Ozan Anlaş on vocals. History The band was formed in the early years of the 1990s by Selim Öztürk (guitar) and Mehmet Şenol Şişli (bass guitar). Although the Turkish music industry was dominated by pop music, Kargo was able to break through with their first album ''Sil Baştan'' (Start Over). The first line-up soon broke up and the two founders had to find new members. The first recruit to join Kargo was Serkan Çeliköz, who is the brother of one of Mehmet's university schoolmates. Being a music student and able to play a wide range of instruments such as keyboard, guitar, violin, bassoon and contrabass made Serkan a suitable candidate. Later Burak Karataş joined Kargo as the drummer and the only spot left to fill was that of lead singer. Serkan Çeliköz
Serkan Çeliköz is a Turkish musician, songwriter, arranger, record producer and the original keyboard player for Turkish rock band Kargo. Towards the end of 2008, Serkan Çeliköz and Koray Candemir decided to end their involvement with Kargo due to vision and opinion differences with the other members. Together they formed their new band 'maSKott' and are currently living in Seattle while working on new projects between tour dates to promote their new album Tuval. In addition to his work with Kargo and maSKott, he is known for his ability to play many instruments and being a producer. Koray Candemir
Koray Candemir (born 7 August 1975) is a Turkish musician, songwriter, and record producer. He used to be the lead singer of the Turkish rock band Kargo. Towards the end of 2008, Koray Candemir and Serkan Celikoz, has decided to end their involvement with Kargo, due to vision and opinion differences with the other members of Kargo. They have formed their new band which is named 'maSKott'. They are currently in Seattle working on their new projects and released their debut album in 2010. Besides singing, Koray also plays the guitar in Kargo and maSKott. In addition to his musical work, he is known for his acting and charity work. Mehmet Şenol Şişli
Mehmet Şenol Şişli, also known as MŞŞ, is a Turkish songwriter, bass guitarist, vocalist, and poet. He and electric guitarist Selim Öztürk founded Kargo, one of the first and most known Turkish rock bands. Şişli left the band in 2000. As of 2006, he performed in the band Kesmeşeker as the bassist. He re-joined Kargo in 2009. He has also published two poetry books named ''Şua'' and ''Bahar Artıkları'' and one music demo ''Köpekleri Saymazsan''. Bassoon
The bassoon is a woodwind instrument in the double reed family, which plays in the tenor and bass ranges. It is composed of six pieces, and is usually made of wood. It is known for its distinctive tone color, wide range, versatility, and virtuosity. It is a non-transposing instrument and typically its music is written in the bass and tenor clefs, and sometimes in the treble. There are two forms of modern bassoon: the Buffet (or French) and Heckel (or German) systems.
