Vanity Lewerissa
Vanity Tonja Caroll Lewerissa (born 1 April 1991) is a Dutch football midfielder currently playing for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie. She previously played in the Belgian 1st Division for Standard Liège, with whom she has also played the Champions League. As a junior international she played the 2010 U-19 European Championship. She made her debut in the senior Netherlands women's national football team on 6 March 2015 in a match against Finland and was part of the squads at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup and the winning team of the UEFA Women's Euro 2017. After the 2017 tournament, the whole team was honoured by the Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister of Sport Edith Schippers and made Knights of the Order of Orange-Nassau. The UEFA Women's Champions League, previously called the UEFA Women's Cup (2001–2009), is a European women's association football competition. The UEFA European Women's Championship, also called the UEFA Women's Euro, held every four years, is the main competition in women's association football between national teams of the UEFA confederation. The competition is the women's equivalent of the UEFA European Championship. History In 1957 in West Berlin, a European Championship was staged by the International Ladies Football Association. Four teams, representing West Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and the eventual winners, England, played the tournament at the Poststadion, at a time when women's football teams were officially forbidden by the German Football Association, a ban that was widely defied. Edith Ingeborg Schippers (born 25 August 1964) is a retired Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and businesswoman serving as President of the DSM Company since 1 February 2019. Schippers, a political consultant by occupation, worked for the Industry and Employers Confederation from 1997 until 2003. Mark Rutte (; born 14 February 1967) is a Dutch politician who has served as Prime Minister of the Netherlands since 2010 and Leader of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) since 2006. 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones.
