Vambola Krigul
Vambola Krigul (born 12 April 1981 in Tallinn) is an Estonian percussionist, chamber musician and singer. Krigul studied flute, percussion instruments, clarinet and saxophone at the Nõmme Music School. After graduating from the Tallinn Music High School in 1999 he continued in percussion classes Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where he graduated from in 2004 with a bachelor's degree and in 2006 in master's degree. In 2000, he reached to the final in Eurovision Young Musicians. The same year, he founded the percussion ensemble PaukenfEST. He is a member of chamber choir Voces Musicales, and he is a bass singer of sacral music ensemble Heinavanker. Krigul has performed with Estonian National Symphony Orchestra since 2000, as well as the Symphony Orchestra of Estonian National Opera since 2002. Võru
Võru (; vro, Võro; german: Werro) is a town and a municipality in south-eastern Estonia. It is the capital of Võru County and the centre of Võru Parish. History Võru was founded on 21 August 1784, according to the wish of the Empress Catherine II of Russia, by the order of Riga Governor general count George Browne, on the site of the former Võru estate. Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR) – ''Estonian Public Broadcasting'' – is a publicly funded and owned radio and television organisation created in Estonia on 1 June 2007 to take over the functions of the formerly separate Eesti Raadio (ER) (''Estonian Radio'') and Eesti Televisioon (ETV) (''Estonian Television''), under the terms of the Estonian National Broadcasting Act. Ãœlo Krigul
Ülo Krigul (born 7 November 1978 in Tallinn) is an Estonian composer. In 1997 he graduated from Tallinn Music High School. In 2006 he graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre specialising in composition. He has been a music organizer; from 1995 to 1999 he belonged to the staff of the jazz festival Jazzkaar. From 2005 to 2014 he was one of the artistic directors of the Estonian Music Days. He has also been a member (being a keyboard player or arranger) of several rock and jazz ensembles, e.g. Compromise Blue and Contus Firmus. Since 2003 he has been a member of the Estonian Composers' Union. Estonian National Opera
Estonian National Opera (''Rahvusooper Estonia'') is the national opera company of Estonia. The company is based at the Estonia Theatre in Tallinn. The theatre has had several names throughout its existence. The latest one being "The Estonian National Opera", which was adopted in 1998. The company produces a lively and varied season which includes operas, ballets and operettas/musicals with over 500 people currently working at the Estonian National Opera. History The song and drama society "Estonia" was founded in 1870. This was the beginning of what has become the current-day Estonian National Opera ( et, Rahvusooper Estonia).
