Val Pollard
Valerie "Val" Pollard (also Lambert) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale'', played by Charlie Hardwick. She made her first screen appearance in the episodes broadcast on 1 February 2004. Val was introduced as the sister of established character Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen). She later married Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell). Hardwick took a three-month break from ''Emmerdale'' to appear in a play, and the character left on 10 February 2012. Val returned in June 2012 and was surprised to learn that Eric was in a relationship with Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop). She moved into Diane's pub, after her marriage breakdown, and helped run it while Diane was away visiting her daughter. In 2014, Val was told that she was HIV positive, after a holiday fling while she was in Portugal. In 2015, it was announced that Hardwick had quit the soap. Steve November (born Steven Frost) is a British television producer and executive. Originally known as Steve Frost during his early career, he became a writer for the Sky One drama ''Dream Team''. He also took roles as an assistant director until he became a scriptwriter on the ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''. He progressed to become the series producer, a role he then took on at ''Coronation Street'' and ''The Royal''. Within ITV he was promoted to Head of Continuing Drama, where he made decisions regarding ITV soap operas and weekly drama series. During this time he also served as the Executive producer of ''Emmerdale''. In 2013, November took on the job of ITV's Director of Drama. ''Emmerdale'' (known as ''Emmerdale Farm'' until 1989) is a British soap opera that is broadcast on ITV1. The show is set in Emmerdale (known as Beckindale until 1994), a fictional village in the Yorkshire Dales. Created by Kevin Laffan, ''Emmerdale Farm'' was first broadcast on 16 October 1972. Interior scenes have been filmed at the Leeds Studios since its inception. Colorectal cancer (CRC), also known as bowel cancer, colon cancer, or rectal cancer, is the development of cancer from the colon or rectum (parts of the large intestine). Cleveland Campbell
Cleveland Campbell (born 3 October 1977 in Rochdale, UK) is an English actor. His family is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. He is best known for his role in ITV (TV network), ITV's ''Emmerdale'' as Danny Daggert. He played the part from 2001 until 2007, starring in 495 episodes. He has also appeared in ''The Bill'' and ''Sunshine (UK TV series), Sunshine'' with Steve Coogan. In 2007, he appeared in pantomime at the Tameside Hippodrome. Danny Daggert
Danny Daggert is a fictional character from the British television soap opera ''Emmerdale'', played by Cleveland Campbell. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 25 June 2001. Development Campbell's on-screen family were written out in 2002, leading the actor to believe he would also be written out of the show. John Axon (actor)
John Axon (10 September 1960 – 25 October 2008) was an English television and stage actor. Axon trained at the Guildhall school of music and drama after briefly training as a graphic designer. Robert Sugden (also Sugden-Dingle) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''.
