Cleveland Campbell
Cleveland Campbell (born 3 October 1977 in Rochdale, UK) is an English actor. His family is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. He is best known for his role in ITV (TV network), ITV's ''Emmerdale'' as Danny Daggert. He played the part from 2001 until 2007, starring in 495 episodes. He has also appeared in ''The Bill'' and ''Sunshine (UK TV series), Sunshine'' with Steve Coogan. In 2007, he appeared in pantomime at the Tameside Hippodrome. Before entering show business, he had previously completed a performing arts course at Hopwood Hall College. On its completion Cleveland also began a course in Hairdressing, also at Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale. He completed the level 2 qualification but did not move on as he got his part in ''Emmerdale''. Controversy Cleveland was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm after an alleged altercation at the 21st birthday party of ex-Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson in Rochdale. Danny Daggert
Danny Daggert is a fictional character from the British television soap opera ''Emmerdale'', played by Cleveland Campbell. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 25 June 2001. Development Campbell's on-screen family were written out in 2002, leading the actor to believe he would also be written out of the show. However, the producers asked him to stay on, which he saw as "a tremendous compliment" and found that it gave him confidence. Remarking on his character's "wild" family, Campbell felt Danny's mother Cynthia Daggert (Kay Purcell) hot-headedness could "play havoc with his life". Hopwood Hall College
Hopwood Hall College is a further education college in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. It has two campuses, one in Rochdale and one in Middleton . Tameside Hippodrome is a 1262 seat theatre located in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, England. History In February 1904, William Henry Broadhead, who already owned three theatres in the Manchester area, acquired land in Ashton-under-Lyne bordered by Oldham Road, Cotton Street East, Gas Street and Old Street. By April plans had been submitted to Ashton Borough Council to build a 2,000 capacity theatre on the corner bordered by Oldham Road and Cotton Street East. The plans were passed in May 1904 and work began immediately. William H Broadhead began his working life as a builder and joiner.
