''Vaktpostene'' (The Guards) is a Norwegian drama film from 1965 directed by Arne Skouen. The screenplay was written by Skouen and Johan Borgen. Plot The film is about a recruit named Arild, who runs away from his military service and arrives at a home for autistic children, where he wants to remain to help. Svein Wickstrøm
Svein Wickstrøm (March 17, 1936 – December 15, 2006) was a Norwegian actor and revue artist. He was employed at the Trøndelag Theater for 35 years. Wickstrøm was born in Oslo. He made his stage debut with Leif Juster at the Edderkoppen Theater in 1955. After training at the National Theater School, he spent two years with the National Traveling Theater and then five years at Chat Noir. In 1968 he started performing at the Trøndelag Theater, and he remained there until he retired in 2003. Together with Helle Ottesen and Jakob Margido Esp, he performed in the cabaret show ''Store Lille Otto'', which was staged around 200 times. This performance came in several versions, called ''Store lille Trondhjem'' and finally ''Store lille verden'' in the 1990s. He appeared in three episodes of the comedy series ''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', and he is particularly remembered for his role as "Bed Rail" ( no, Sengehesten) in the episode "Rotbløyte" from 1982. Arne Aas (actor)
Arne Martin Aas (July 7, 1931 – April 3, 2000) was a Norwegian actor, director, and screenwriter that worked in theater, film, and TV. Theater From 1970 to 1973, Aas was the theater manager at the Trøndelag Theater, where he also made his debut in 1957 in Strindberg's ''Erik XIV''. He also had directing assignments at the theater and was employed there from 1963 onward. At the Trøndelag Theater he appeared in plays such as John Osborne's ''Look Back in Anger'' (Norwegian title: ''Se deg om i vrede'') and William Shakespeare's ''Twelfth Night'' (Norwegian title: ''Helligtrekongersaften''), and he performed the title role in Henrik Ibsen's ''Brand''. He was also associated with NRK's Television Theater (from 1966 to 1970, and again from 1973 to 1975), where he became nationally known, among other things, in the role of Hans Nilsen Fennefoss in the miniseries ''Skipper Worse'' based on the novel by Alexander Kielland. Alf Malland
Alf Malland (24 January 1917 – 16 August 1997) was a Norwegian actor. Biography He was born in Bergen, Norway. He began his acting career as a student at the Det Norske Teatret in Oslo. Following the German occupation of Norway during World War II, he quit as a theater student and participated in the resistance. Malland first went to Sweden and in 1942 he left for Great Britain where he trained as a paratrooper. He arrived at Finnmark in November 1944 as company commander with the Norwegian forces. In 1946, he was again at Det Norske Teatret and took up his theater studies. He was first employed there then freelanced. He appeared in 42 films and television shows between 1949 and 1987. He starred in the film ''Struggle for Eagle Peak'', which was entered into the 10th Berlin International Film Festival. Frimann Falck Clausen
Frimann Falck Clausen (February 15, 1921 – March 23, 1983) was a Norwegian actor. He played the role of the truck owner Hjul in the children's series ''Jul i Skomakergata'' in 1979 and the wealthy farmer Torsøien in the Norwegian film comedy '' Bør Børson Jr.'' and its sequel. Clausen started his acting career at the Frater Theater in Drammen, where he took part in both revues and theater productions. Later he moved to Oslo, where he performed at several theaters, among them the Norwegian Theater, Oslo New Theater, and National Theatre. He also took part in several productions of NRK's Television Theater. In 1958, Clausen married the actress Anne-Lise Tangstad. Clausen died in 1983. He was cremated at the Vestre crematorium in Oslo and buried in Bragernes cemetery in Drammen. Arne Skouen (18 October 1913 – 24 May 2003) was a Norwegian journalist, author, film director and film producer. Biography Arne Skouen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. His parents were Peder Nikolai Skouen (1883-1978) and Jenny Emanuelson (1883-1975). He graduated at Hegdehaugen School in 1933. He had three distinct career careers: journalist, author and filmmaker, partly at the same time. He was a journalist at ''Dagbladet'' from 1935 to 1941. From 1941 during World War II, Skouen was associated with the Norwegian Resistance Movement during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany. From 1943 to 1945, Skouen worked at the press office in Stockholm, London, and New York City. After the liberation of Norway at the end of World War II, he returned to ''Dagbladet'' as a columnist, serving from 1946 to 1947. He then worked at ''Verdens Gang'' from 1947 to 1957. Carl Frederik Prytz (23 September 1922 – 5 March 2002) was a Norwegian poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, translator, radio personality and literary critic.
