Svein Wickstrøm
Svein Wickstrøm (March 17, 1936 – December 15, 2006) was a Norwegian actor and revue artist. He was employed at the Trøndelag Theater for 35 years. Wickstrøm was born in Oslo. He made his stage debut with Leif Juster at the Edderkoppen Theater in 1955. After training at the National Theater School, he spent two years with the National Traveling Theater and then five years at Chat Noir. In 1968 he started performing at the Trøndelag Theater, and he remained there until he retired in 2003. Together with Helle Ottesen and Jakob Margido Esp, he performed in the cabaret show ''Store Lille Otto'', which was staged around 200 times. This performance came in several versions, called ''Store lille Trondhjem'' and finally ''Store lille verden'' in the 1990s. He appeared in three episodes of the comedy series ''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', and he is particularly remembered for his role as "Bed Rail" ( no, Sengehesten) in the episode "Rotbløyte" from 1982. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. ''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', better known by its shortened title ''Fleksnes'', was a Norwegian- Swedish-Danish television comedy series produced between 1972 and 2002, created by Swedish writer Bo Hermansson and based on Galton and Simpson's scripts for the British series ''Hancock's Half Hour''. History The series was born when Swedish writer Bo Hermansson began translating the British comedy series ''Hancock's Half Hour'' in the early 70s, drawing attention from three different Nordic broadcasters, who eventually produced and aired the series together. The main dialogue is in Norwegian, but nearly all episodes featured guest stars from both Sweden and Denmark. Fleksnes was only meant to be a single series of five or six episodes, but it became such a popular show in all three countries that it was immediately renewed for six more episodes. Smuglere
''Smuglere'' (The Smugglers) is a Norwegian crime film from 1968 directed by Rolf Clemens. The screenplay was written by Liv Clemens, who based it on Arthur Omre's 1935 novel of the same name. Plot In the 1920s, the unemployed architect Ernst accidentally enters a smuggling ring, and his gray and desolate existence is replaced by a lush, brazen, and colorful world. He is in love with Klara, but she leaves him. Jenny becomes his close friend. Together with Hugo and Elsa, the pair make several smuggling trips by car, with a large—but not sufficient—profit. It is only when Ernst invests in boats that the smuggling really takes off. He operates along the entire Oslo Fjord and all the way down to Rotterdam. He is constantly pursued by police and customs officials in their infamous torpedo boats.
