Uttar Baridhara Club ( bn, উত্তর বারিধারা ক্লাব) is a Bangladeshi football club, established in 1995, based in Kalachandpur, Baridhara, Dhaka. The club currently competing in Bangladesh Premier League as they became runners-up in 2018–19 Bangladesh Championship League and got promotion. History Journey to the top flight (1995–2013) The Baridhara based team started its journey in 1995 with the help of some enthusiastic locals. Jahangir Alam was named the clubs general secretary. The club were promoted to the second division, now known as the Bangladesh Championship League, in the 2007 season after clinching the third division title. They were unlucky not to be promoted to the top-tier in their first season in the Championship league, where they finished league runners-up. Alfaz Ahmed
Alfaz Ahmed ( bn, আলফাজ আহমদ; born: 7 July 1973) is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who played for the Bangladesh national football team from 1995 to 2008. He is seen as one of the best strikers to ever play for Bangladesh. He won three international trophies while playing for his country. Alfaz also scored the winning goal of the 1999 South Asian Games final, against Nepal. He played for Bangladesh 13 years, scoring 11 goals along the way. Alfaz also has 109 domestic league goals, including numerous goals in AFC club competitions. Mostafa Mahmoud Kahraba (Arabic: مصطفى كهربا; born 10 November 1987) is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bangladesh Premier League club Brothers Union.
