Unine (band)
Unine (stylized as UNINE) was a nine-member Chinese boy band formed by the survival show ''Youth with You''. The group consisted of Li Wenhan, Li Zhenning, Yao Mingming, Guan Yue, Jia Yi, Hu Chunyang, Xia Hanyu, Chen Youwei, and He Changxi. History UNINE was formed through the reality survival television show ''Youth With You,'' which aired from January 21 to April 6, 2019. It was the second edition of '' Idol Producer''. Out of the 100 trainees, only 9 were to debut through audience votings. In the final episode the debut lineup was announced, in which Li Wenhan had come in first place, followed by Li Zhenning, Yao Mingming, Guan Yue, Jia Yi, Hu Chunyang, Xia Hanyu, Chen Youwei and He Changxi respectively. Prior to UNINE, Li Wenhan debuted in the Chinese-South Korean boy band Uniq in 2014. He also made his acting debut in 2016. Yao Mingming trained with SEVENTEEN and appeared in Seventeen TV. C-Pop
C-pop is an abbreviation for Chinese popular music (), a loosely defined musical genre by artists originating from mainland China,Hong Kong and Taiwan (the Greater China region). This also includes countries where Chinese languages are used by parts of the population, such as Singapore and Malaysia. C-pop is used as an umbrella term covering not only Chinese pop but also R&B, ballads, Chinese rock, Chinese hip hop and Chinese ambient music, although Chinese rock diverged during the early 1990s. Chongqing ( or ; ; Sichuanese pronunciation: , Standard Mandarin pronunciation: ), alternately romanized as Chungking (), is a municipality in Southwest China. Mandopop Musical Groups
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after "Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. Sina Weibo (新浪微博) is a Chinese microblogging (weibo) website. Launched by Sina Corporation on 14 August 2009, it is one of the biggest social media platforms in China, with over 582 million monthly active users (252 million daily active users) as of Q1 2022. The platform has been a huge financial success, with surging stocks, lucrative advertising sales and high revenue and total earnings per quarter.
