UNTV Cup Season 6
The UNTV Cup Season 6 was the 2017–2018 season of the annual charity basketball league in the Philippines, UNTV Cup. The tournament was organized by UNTV under the UNTV-37 Foundation, Inc., thru its chairman and chief executive officer of BMPI-UNTV, Kuya Daniel Razon, more popularly known as Mr. Public Service. The season officially opened on September 12, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with fourteen teams vying for the championship title. Regular games were held at the Pasig City Sports Center in Pasig with a live telecast on the UNTV Public Service channel every Sunday afternoon. The best-of-three finals series was held on March 4 and 12, 2018, at the Pasig City Sports Center in Pasig and Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, respectively. The championship is between two-time runner-up Malacañan- PSC Kamao and first time finalist Senate Defenders. UNTV Cup Season 2
The UNTV Cup Season 2 was the 2014 season of the public service-based basketball league, the UNTV Cup. It was opened on February 11, 2014, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. Its final games were held on July 8, 2014, at the same venue. UNTV Cup season two started its ceremonial toss on February 11, 2014, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. Ten teams participated this season; three more teams compared to the inaugural season. Atoy Co and Ed Cordero serve as commissioner and deputy commissioner respectively during the course of UNTV Cup season two. The game ended successfully on July 8, 2014, on the same venue. The UNTV Cup Season 3 was the 2014–2015 season of the public service-based basketball league, the UNTV Cup based in the Philippines. It was opened on November 17, 2014 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay. Its final games was held on April 28, 2015 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. During the season, the league got its first AnakTV award for being a child-friendly basketball tournament. The Bureau of Customs Transformers was a basketball team currently that competed in the UNTV Cup Season 5. The Transformers were the newest team to be participate in the UNTV Cup, a public service-based basketball tournament in the Philippines. The team was supported by BOC Commissioners Nicanor Faeldon, that aims to beef up the bureau's campaign on the image transformation to the public from being the corrupted and controversial government agency to one of the most-efficient and transparent agencies to date.
