UNTV Cup Season 2
The UNTV Cup Season 2 was the 2014 season of the public service-based basketball league, the UNTV Cup. It was opened on February 11, 2014, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. Its final games were held on July 8, 2014, at the same venue. UNTV Cup season two started its ceremonial toss on February 11, 2014, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. Ten teams participated this season; three more teams compared to the inaugural season. Atoy Co and Ed Cordero serve as commissioner and deputy commissioner respectively during the course of UNTV Cup season two. The game ended successfully on July 8, 2014, on the same venue. Its kick off celebration was held at One Esplanade in Pasay on January 14, 2014. Opening game was held on February 11, 2014, at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. Francis Adriano (born September 24, 1975) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. Drafted 6th overall by Sta. Lucia in 2001, he started his pro career with the now-defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association. Ortigas Avenue is a highway running from eastern Metro Manila to western Rizal in the Philippines. It is one of the busiest highways in Metro Manila, serving as the main thoroughfare of the metro's east–west corridor, catering mainly to the traffic to and from Rizal. Celedon Camaso better known as Don Camaso (born March 16, 1973 in Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines) is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Judiciary Magis in the UNTV Cup. Shaw Boulevard (formerly known as Jose Rizal Boulevard and Pasig Boulevard or commonly known as Crossing) is a 4-8 lane highway connecting the cities of Mandaluyong and Pasig in the Philippines. The Ynares Sports Arena is an indoor arena located in Pasig, Philippines. The stadium has hosted the basketball games of the Philippine Basketball Association, Philippine Basketball League, and Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, as well as college basketball tournaments.
