''Unnai Thedi Varuven'' () is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by C. V. Sridhar and produced by K. R. Gangadharan. The film stars Suresh, Nalini, Sadhana and Vinoth. It was released on 5 July 1985, and became a commercial success. Plot Devi and Anitha are best friends that are in Anitha's home alone when a killer on the run (Vinoth) enters their home. He's running from the police after killing his ex-girlfriend and plans on hiding out at the house. The young women capture him and he's arrested but nurses a grudge against the two. Anitha is rich and funds Devi's education. Devi lives with her brother (Ravi) and sister-in-law. As her education is funded by Anitha, Devi feels a sense of obligation towards her friend. Mysore Seshaiah Suresh Babu Naidu is an Indian actor, producer, director, and dubbing artist. He has acted predominantly in Tamil and Telugu languages. Personal life Suresh was born in Sri Kalhasthi. His parents were also born in Sri Kalahasthi. His grandfather was from Nellore. Career Suresh started his career as an editing assistant and a dance assistant. One of his father's friends thought that he could become a successful lead actor. Suresh approached director C. V. Sridhar with a portfolio but was turned down. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. During the course of his 40-year film career, he has written over 7,500 songs and poems which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist. Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi.
