Unna West Station
Unna West is a railway station in the Unna district of Massen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a German railway station categories, category 6 station. It was opened on 3 June 1984 on the Fröndenberg–Kamen railway completed between Unna station, Unna and Unna-Königsborn station, Unna-Königsborn by the Prussian state railways on 1 April 1900 and electrified on 25 May 1984. It is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S4 (Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn), S 4 at 30-minute intervals. Unna
Unna is a city of around 59,000 people in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the seat of the Unna district. The newly refurbished Unna station has trains to all major cities in North Rhine Westphalia including Dortmund, Cologne, Münster, Hamm, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. There is also the Regional-Express 7 (Rhein-Münsterland-Express), which runs from Rheine via Cologne to Krefeld. Geography Unna is situated on an ancient salt-trading route, the Westphalian Hellweg. Unna station is the main passenger station in the Westphalian city of Unna in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Dortmund Airport is a minor international airport located east of Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia. The Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn (german: S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr) is a polycentric and electrically driven S-train network covering the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Region in the German federated state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
