Ultraschall Berlin
Ultraschall (German: Ultrasound, ) was a nightclub in Munich, Germany from 1994 to 2003. The techno club belonged, besides the '' Tresor'' and '' E-Werk'' in Berlin, the ''Dorian Gray'' and ''Omen'' in Frankfurt, and the Munich-based clubs ', ''Natraj Temple'' and ''Millennium'', to the most renowned clubs of Germany's 1990s techno culture. According to ''FazeMag'', Ultraschall was "for many techno fans the most authentic techno club alongside the Tresor". History and Description Origins The origins of the club lie in the monthly Ultraworld parties on the grounds of an alternative cultural center in Munich's Oberföhring borough, which was called ''Kulturstation'' and often also hosted punk concerts. The Pfanni GmbH & Co. OHG is a German food manufacturer based in Stavenhagen. It specializes in the manufacturing of kitchen ready potato products. It is a subsidiary of Unilever since 2000. Blumenbar
Blumenbar Verlag GmbH&Co KG is a small avantgarde publishing house in Germany. ''Blumenbar'' is German for "bar of flowers", alluding its beginnings in the Blumenstraße close to the Viktualienmarkt in Munich in 2002. The two founders, Lars Birken-Bertsch and Wolfgang Farkas, publish non-mainstream authors such as Matias Faldbakken or Tracey Emin. Acid Maria
DJ Acid Maria, born Angelika Lepper, is a German DJ and music producer of electronic music. Her musical style is between techno and Chicago House. She became famous as the house DJ of the Munich clubs Ultraschall and Harry Klein. Career Her career began on December 6, 1992, when she performed for twenty people for "Jockey Slut Night" at Club Alcatraz in Munich. In the Munich scene she was next known as a co-owner of a store that sold clubwear clothing. Monika Kruse
Monika Kruse (born 23 July 1971) is a German techno DJ/producer and record label owner, with a career in electronic music spanning more than 25 years. She played an influential role in the early Munich rave scene during the early 1990s and was among the first wave of German techno artists to tour internationally, before moving to Berlin at the end of the decade where she founded her Terminal M record label. Kruse remains a prominent fixture on the international house and techno scene, with regular appearances at major European events like Awakenings and Time Warp, and is also known for her long-term commitment to social justice via her No Historical Backspin charity that she founded in 2000. Telekom Electronic Beats (TEB) is an international music marketing program of Deutsche Telekom AG focusing on electronic music and international club culture. The program was founded in 2000. It comprises a media portfolio and has been organizing events such as concerts, festivals and club nights with mainly electronic music artists throughout Europe. Jeff Mills
Jeff Mills (born June 18, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American DJ, record producer, and composer. Thanks to his technical abilities as a DJ, Mills became known as ''The Wizard'' in the early to mid 1980s. In the late 1980s Mills founded the techno collective Underground Resistance with fellow Detroit techno producers 'Mad' Mike Banks and Robert Hood but left the group to pursue a career as a solo artist in the early 90s. Mills founded Axis Records in 1992. The label is based in Chicago, Illinois and is responsible for the release of much of his solo work. Mills has received international recognition for his work both as a DJ and producer.
