Blumenbar
Blumenbar Verlag GmbH&Co KG is a small avantgarde publishing house in Germany. ''Blumenbar'' is German for "bar of flowers", alluding its beginnings in the Blumenstraße close to the Viktualienmarkt in Munich in 2002. The two founders, Lars Birken-Bertsch and Wolfgang Farkas, publish non-mainstream authors such as Matias Faldbakken or Tracey Emin. The graphic design of the books (by Chrish Klose) is especially noted. In 2009, Blumenbar moved to Berlin. Since March 2012, Blumenbar has continued as an imprint of the Berlin-based Aufbau-Verlag. Zaza Burchuladze ( ka, ზაზა ბურჭულაძე) (born 9 September 1973 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a contemporary postmodern Georgian novelist and dramatist. Currently, he lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Matias Faldbakken
Matias Faldbakken (born 1973 in Hobro, Denmark) is a Norwegian artist and writer. Faldbakken studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Bergen and the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. He is the son of the author Knut Faldbakken, father of grov kar Gardar Faldbakken, and brother of film director Stefan Faldbakken. Literary career He made his literary debut in 2001 with ''The Cocka Hola Company'', the first part of his ''Scandinavian Misanthropy Trilogy''. ''Macht und Rebel'' was released two years later, following most recently by ''Unfun'', in Spring 2008, which completed his trilogy. The Viktualienmarkt is a daily food market and a square in the center of Munich, Germany. It has been held daily since 1807, except on Sundays and public holidays. The Viktualienmarkt developed from an original farmers' market to a popular market for gourmets. Joseba Sarrionandia Uribelarrea (Iurreta, Biscay, April 13, 1958) is a Basque writer who has published a large number of books of poetry and short stories, as well as novels. He has been awarded on numerous occasions for his work, and is nowadays a respected literary personality in the Basque Country. In the early 80s, he was member of the Basque separatist group ETA. Murathan Mungan (born 21 April 1955 in Istanbul) is a Turkish author, short story writer, playwright, and poet. Biography Mungan's family originates from Mardin.
