Tun Dr Ismail
Tun Dr. Ismail bin Abdul Rahman ( ms, إسماعيل بن عبدالرحمن, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; 4 November 1915 – 2 August 1973) was a Malaysian politician who served as the second Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia from September 1970 to his death in August 1973. A member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), he previously held several ministerial posts. Ismail has been called "the man who saved Malaysia" for his actions as minister of home affairs after the May 13 incident of racial rioting in 1969. Early life Ismail was born on 4 November 1915 in Johor Bahru, Johor. He was the son of Abdul Rahman Mohamed Yassin, who was of Buginese descent. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several Provinces of Indonesia, provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. Abu Bakar Suleiman
Abu Bakar bin Suleiman (born 4 February 1944) is a Malaysian physician, academic administrator, business executive and former civil servant. He is currently chairman of IHH Healthcare, Asia's largest private healthcare group, and president of the IMU Group, the parent company of the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur. He served as vice-chancellor (president) of the International Medical University from 2001 to 2015. From 1991 to 1999, Abu Bakar served as Director-General in the Malaysian Ministry of Health. He is president of a range of national medical organisations namely the Malaysian Health Informatics Association, the National Kidney Foundation and the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia. Mohd Ghazali Mohd Seth
General (Rtd) Tan Sri Dato' Mohd Ghazali bin Mohd Seth (4 February 1929 – 24 August 2021) was the 7th Chief of Defence Forces of Malaysia. Background Ghazali was born on 4 February 1929 in Johor Bahru and had undergone military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1952. He had served as Army chief (1977–1982) prior to his appointment as the 7th Chief of the Malaysian Defence Forces (1982–1985). Tun Dr. Awang bin Hassan ( ms, اواڠ بن حسن, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; 9 November 1910 – 12 September 1998) was a Malaysian politician who served as the 5th Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Penang from 1981 until his retirement in 1989. He had previously served as the 7th Malaysian High Commissioner to Australia from 1973 to 1980. National Mosque Of Malaysia
The National Mosque of Malaysia ( ms, Masjid Negara Malaysia) is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has a capacity for 15,000 people and is situated among of gardens. Its key features are a minaret and a 16-pointed star concrete main roof. The umbrella, synonymous with the tropics, is featured conspicuously – the main roof is reminiscent of an open umbrella, the minaret's cap a folded one. The folded plates of the concrete main roof are a creative solution to achieving the larger spans required in the main gathering hall. Reflecting pools and fountains spread throughout the compound. Completed in 1965, the mosque is a bold and modern approach in reinforced concrete, symbolic of the aspirations of a then newly independent nation. Makam Pahlawan
The Makam Pahlawan (Malay for Heroes' Mausoleum) is the burial ground of several Malaysian leaders and politicians. It is located near the Malaysian national mosque, Masjid Negara in the national capital, Kuala Lumpur. Construction of the mausoleum began in 1963 under its project of the construction of Masjid Negara and was completed in 1965. The cemetery has an interior and an exterior. Part is covered with a concrete dome in the form of a starburst, each side of which almost touches the ground, and separated by a pond from the outside. In the centre is designed with a decorative symbol of the country, the Emblem of Malaysia ''( Jata Negara)'' and carving out new flowers marble from the island of Langkawi. The centre of the domed roof is adorned with gold coloured roses.
