Trond-Viggo Torgersen
Trond-Viggo Torgersen (born 14 June 1952 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian physician, broadcaster, television host, actor, comedian, singer, songwriter, artist and former children's ombudsman. Artistic career Torgersen started in NRK making programs for children and youth, like ''Flode'' and ''Kroppen'', and he was the first program host for ''Halvsju''. He has published several children's albums and was awarded Spellemannprisen 1981 in the class Children's music, together with George Keller, for the album ''Det by'ner nå''. Familiar songs like "Tenke sjæl", "Hjalmar", "Slapp reggae", "Stilig" and "Puss, puss, så får du en suss" is signed by Torgersen. He has also written several plays for children and adults. ''Hjalmar og Flode'' has been set up on Oslo Nye Teater, Hordaland Teater and Rogaland Teater. His books ''Kroppen'' (''The Body''), ''Flode alene'' (''Flode Alone'') and ''Tenke sjæl'' (approx. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. NRK2 (NRK To) is one of the TV channels of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It was launched on 1 September 1996. History The channel started its regular broadcasts on 1 September 1996, but the evening before, a live simulcast, led by Trond-Viggo Torgersen, was broadcast on both NRK1 and NRK2. Sunday 1 September was the first regular broadcast day, and around 880,000 people watched the channel during the first evening. From the start, the channel was to be youth-oriented and had people between the ages of 15 and 35 as its main target group. For the first eleven years, before the channel changed its profile, culture, entertainment and music programs were mainly broadcast. Trond Georg Kirkvaag (21 June 1946 – 16 November 2007) was a Norwegian comedian, actor, impressionist, screenwriter, author, director and television host. During his 39 years at the Norwegian TV network, NRK, he produced numerous comedy television series. After his death he was widely hailed by his colleagues as possibly the greatest Norwegian TV comedian in history. He was the son of NRK journalist and television host Rolf Kirkvaag.
